@@stofbug I can relate to this approach. Syntakt shines as a groovebox however it needs a strong polyphonic "friend". I ended up pairing it with Push 3. Looking forward to your future jams.
@@stofbug HYDRASYNTH seems good. It has 8-voice and polyphonic aftertouch. Unfortunately, it does not have a sequencer, but it is probably not necessary with SYNTAKT.
Thanks. The digitone is on top of my wishlist right now. I’m gonna wait till after Superbooth this year and see if there are any interesting other options announced and then decide if I’m gonna get one.
It’s one pattern on the Syntakt, but the tracks have different sequencer lengths and sequencer scales. And I use lots of probability on the triggers, therefore creating random elements. And muting/unmuting of tracks. The bpm of each track is the same.
Everything comes from the Syntakt itself. I use either one of the preset sounds that I tweak to my liking or I create a sound from scratch using one of the Syntakt machines. I also bought an excellent soundpack by @substan which you can transfer to the Syntakt.

Can recommend the Digitone-Combination, it would for sure fit your sound very well..
