@@user-nm3ng9iq8d I see a swinging arm making forceful contact with the head. So did the referee, hence the send off. That answers your question “how is that a send off”. Learn the rules
It was a solid good hit from Olam but his arm and hand unfortunately came in contact with Cowboys head. Unintentional in my opinion doesn't warrant a send off should have been a bin. Bunker and Ref didn't see it like some of us did.
Needed Cotter and JT in the middle so badly. The way they gel the defence together was missed tonight. Cotter back next week we’ll be good 👍🏽

That sent off is very biased, it should have been a 10mins sin bin. NRL should review that sent off.

Kyle feldt put on a shoulder charge on Olam without the ball in the lead up to tigers first try yet the touchie and the ref let it slide. The inconsistencies are ridiculous.
He didn't mean. Olam is not a dirty player, his attack is very clean and hope nothing happens to him.🙏🙏💪💪♥️

If the ref added the blatant crusher tackle on top of JOs sloppy tackle, I could almost understand. But he didn't, so the send off is crazy.

The game is soft, that’s just how it is now unfortunately. In 10yrs it will be like soccer where players are constantly milking penalties and faking injuries.
@@Revheadrev I grew up playing in the late 2000s early 2010s and I copped harder hits as a kid. What happened? Play on, get him back when he runs the ball. Now I feel like they're going to start giving players marching orders whenever there's a big hit. Referees and the judicial board have no understanding of forward momentum and how a human cannot stop on a dime without injuring their ankles/knees and seeing things like the Justin Olam send off just really gets under my skin. As much as I love the sport, I HATE Rugby League's broken judicial system and part of me is thankful for quitting, because in the modern game, I would have been seen as another Josh Reynolds with the suspension record of Adrian Morley XD

78 points in 80 minutes, and Api missed a few, doesn't say much for either teams defense. Moo-moos would of had a big worry if the Tigs had kept 13 on the field.

it was the whiplash that was from the tackle that made it look forceful, rosters took out a manly player category 1 and didnt even get 10 in the bin. unless your a top 4 team like Rosters, Penrith and Storm the NRL seems to have it in for your team, maybe the NRL is trying to get the tigers kicked out. The Tigers have had so many atrocious calls this season. anybody remember Penrith player tripping in the act of scoring and they werent even going to give the Tigers a penalty which we had to use a captains challenge on, to only get a penalty, a joke the refereeing

Rugby league games nowadays are not physical, unlike the yester years. .let bunker and ref continue ruining the game.
🤐 Controversial Send-off: that dumb rule has to be amended: the penalized player should be banished for the rest of the game however a replacement should be done after 10minutes with a bench player. NRL need to be realistic. A team winning a game with 1 extra man is not fair at all.
If the cowboys make the 4 watch out. They can beat penrith or melbourne unlike chooks.

There was no need for Olam to do that. We do need to do a 20 minute red card. Refs won’t send players off from the big teams because they don’t want to ruin the spectacle. A 20 minute red card kind of solves that problem.
Also Justin. You are not at the Storm anymore, you don’t get away with that .
Olam didnt aim for the head. How do you expect him to avoid it when the ball runner ducked at his aim. The ball runner got himself in that position that put Olam in an ackward end. A sin bin is appropriate penalty not a send off. The refs ruined the game. Rugby League now is getting softer maybe they should change tackling to touch rugby that way no body gets send off
I think it’s fair to say that the NRL is no longer that brute physical game where gladiators battle for keeps out there on the footy field, the aggression and brutality that the fans grew up with in the 70s-90s is officially dead. This sport is now nothing more than an entertainment business for families and kids proudly sponsored by Sportsbet, and sports betting in Australia has destroyed the credibility of all sports and if you think otherwise then you’re part of the agenda that this is now nothing more than just a greedy business trying to make money off every punter.
If that is now considered a send off then Rugby League is officially dead.
Don’t get me wrong, the game is thriving now more than ever, the closeness of the competition, the entertaining games, the vibrant atmosphere of the fans, the whole Vegas push, but some officiating decisions are deadset ruining the game and it reeks off corruption in certain parts, you can almost tell what is going to happen next at certain points almost as if like you’re watching a drama series.
The send off was very unfair for Olam. This ref needs to be punished.
