U can use normal gold fishing rod too. U can these fishing rods from calander rewards or exchange event or gulu cooking events from time to time.

What is Gold Medal Size? ^ ^'
They have 🏅 depending on sizes.. bronze, silver, gold. To get achievement, u need to fish gold medal.

I got mermaid on first catch 😂 my friend got on 2nd day of fishing.
I've spent 133 baits but no luck
It is normal. Because mermaid is legendary fish..means very very rare to get. Try to use zanny rabbit if u have to increase luck.
