Great to see inside Alec.
Steeped in history this old hunting lodge, it's C listed from the 1800s.
William Dunbar bought it in 1850 and it was used for salmon angling which is still a huge interest in Scotland, hunting game birds and shooting on the moors of this beautiful part of Bonnie Scotland.
Shame to see it deteriorate isn't it, loved that little round room upstairs 💕

But William Dunbar was born much earlier than this - 1400s or similar. But to know its listing category and its use was very interesting, thank you.

Wonderful lodge with great little rooms leading around and around. The only sad part is the wee creatures who came in to warm themselves and got lost. Thank you for all the brilliant work you do.

hi Alec!! Okay my Dear!? I'm now watching your new video, what an amazing house! I love this medieval air of Scottish buildings. But the coolest thing about your videos is the challenge of entering the house, I always wonder how or where they will enter... awesome!! My favorite video is the Resident Evil Mansion...full of alarms!! I've lost count of how many times I've watched it. I was supposed to stop by and just say hi and I already said too much..kkkk kisses my dear!

Wow! What a shame it has been left to the mercy of the elements. Fortunately it would appear that the roof is still intacted so no water damage. I was hoping you'd venture around to the square keep on the far side of the lodge but I assume that this part was in sight of the neighbours. Top tour!
Another great find Alec. Nice building and still in fair condition. Seems that drive way was used regularly. Poor creatures though couldnt find their way out, so sad. Loved the photos. Take care all of you Alioban x

Hate even the thought of hunting animals as a sport or as a "fun" pastime. Fox hunting with dogs..I totally despise anyone who takes any part in that & thinks its ok.💔

Hi Alec,
The house was in excellent condition and looked as though it was being used until recent years when its wealthy elderly owner died.
Comfortable house with high quality furniture and fittings in it.
The fact that the guns were left out instead of being locked away might indicate that the owner died suddenly and unexpectedly.
I assume you had permission and that you just pretended to be going in without permission to make the video more exciting.
I ha physically sensations of being there while watching you because I couldn't relax.
I was scared that someone would come along and had a sense of wrong doing and fear because it didn't look like the usual obviously abandoned houses.
Then when you were going out I thought what if someone had let icattle or a bull or vicious dogs in to the field, another long, exposed walk out like so many of the abandoned houses you explore, nowhere to escape to or hide.
Awesome explore Alec. Such a beautiful house. Great location too. Well done and beautiful photos as always.

Hi Alec, I assume that so long as you haven’t broken in to gain entry and don’t remove anything from the premises, then no criminal offence has been committed?
Its still trespassing in Scottish law. Check it out.

Brilliant video, I have to ask a question though and I really hope you don't take offence as it's not meant. But when it comes to not drawing attention to yourself it's a bit of a fail. Think about it wandering about the country side and sporting estates dressed like Ned's/chavs/ footy casuals can't be good when your aim is to stay under the radar. Your videos are amazing and your clearly very decent respectful people but surely blending in and looking like you belong in your surroundings is a big part of what you do. Hope I haven't offended guys not my intention but if I saw you lot creeping about my private country estate I'd have a few questions to say the least. 🤣

Neds/chavs/footy casuals?? I didn’t realize they wore hiking boots and waterproof clothing to go fighting. We would look more daft if we decided to wear tweed and smoke a pipe….. the thing is it doesn’t matter what you wear, or it shouldn’t anyway, if you are a stranger in a place you don’t belong people will look at you….

You guys should be ashamed of yourself, breaking and entering is a criminal offence. This is reportable. Somebody owns that property.
