This was so deep - but how could it be a spectacle to which the public gave an applause? Do we applaud at then end of a Mass ?

My God! You are so right (to me)! I think the very same thing... and I feel extremely sorry that ''whirling dervishes'' actually give a ''performance, in front of an audience'', of what is meant to be an act of adoration... In those circumstances, are the dervishes in a ''real'' state of extasie?? Have a nice day!
