Etienne, I learned how to do a Mobius strip from you so I tried to emboss it and it won't let me select the face. :-( There is also "Text along path", but we can only extrude on a flat surface. Please us know if you figure out how to emboss text on a mobius strip. That would be really cool!
is it only possible to do a emboss on a cylinder? this is what everyone is showing. i have a some more complex model and this tool does not work at all for what i want to use it for.

Not mobius strip beacause the face can only be curved on one axis.
