+Alycia R It's both a great and terrible time that we live in, women are expected to be a walking middle finger to what men think/want, but when someone wants to do something nice for their partner (wear more/less makeup, etc.) their partner is "controlling." We say we don't want to be generalized but we're generalizing every situation as the same. Personally, I could have a full face or no makeup, my boyfriend doesn't notice or care. There's nothing wrong with doing things to please the one you're with, that's the fun in a relationship.
Sorry for the rant, but I agree, she absolutely doesn't have to explain herself to anyone, especially when she seems so happy with where she is right now.

😒 okay So I did think "no, Do what you want" when I first heard you talk about your bf and his opinions. But since I'm an adult. I checked myself .& said that's none of my business. & after putting some thought in to it. My husband doesn't like red hair, I don't do it. He wouldn't love me any less if I did dye my hair red. It's just his opinion. And believe it or not it doesn't make you any less of a strong woman to value your mans opinion on what he finds attractive . I'm done ranting 😘 love you !

I'm mean I didn't really do that either, these are all just thoughts I would have inside my head when he would say anything non flattering about my makeup) k I'm gonna stop making up lies about my wonderful hubby and just say that I communicated with him over it and now we've come to an understanding which is he prefers me without makeup and I...well I just don't care ;) love you and your BF Chrisspy! Aw hell. I hope I did not just hear you say you put on less makeup for your boyfriend. Now this conversation can go many directions but let me ask you this: Why are you wearing less for him? My husband has always complimented my makeup, he lets me know when I go over board too and tells me... Your partner should be your best friend and I expect my best friend to let me know when my makeup looks good or if it's a little too much... So I feel you girl :)
You should always do your makeup the way YOU want it ! My boyfriend just always gets annoyed if I wear too much lipstick because he can't kiss me, but what do men know about makeup anyways ? My husband prefers less makeup too. For guys, it is just harder for them to appreciate makeup because most prefer natural but it doesn't mean she should leave him guys lol, some men just prefer more natural who they can see the makeup sitting on the skin. you guys realize he's not telling her what to do right...? men's perception of makeup is way different than women. it's the same way with weight .. women think weighing 140 lbs is fat but in a guys mind that's being scrawny. there's nothing wrong with taking your mans opinion into consideration as long as you don't base your entire lifestyle around it. she even said she just wears less makeup around him, it's not like she stopped wearing makeup. I'm sure if she told him she preferred his hair a certain way he'd wear it that way more often cause he knows she likes it. I don't usually EVER comment on these things but I came from snap. I can't believe people are giving you shit over trying a makeup style because your boyfriend likes it a certain way. It's not like he cuffed you and was like it's either less makeup or gtfo. I swear our generation is so against the idea of compromising. When you do something that your S.O other likes you're not being a "pushover" or being "controlled" or "too meek". You're simply trying out and taking their ideas into consideration because you care about them, why be in a relationship otherwise??

I follow a lot of makeup artists and they annoy me because they act so fake in front of the camera and NEVER show themselves without a filter. You are so naturally beautiful that's it's nice to see you with fried hair LOL! It humanizes you! I have a health issue that's causing my hair to fall out. My bangs are almost bald. Its really embarrassing and humiliating. I use so many products to get body in my hair that it is fried! I know this is terrible but I have you on such a high pedestal that when I saw your hair I felt better 😙. I try to hide it but I'm not going to now!
