Growing up in Madina, Accra in the late 80's, my grandpa used to play this and many other classics. How i miss those days of my life in 2024. RIP, Grandparents 😭
His songs make you reflect on life and puts things into the perspective…very sad he doesn’t get the flowers he deserves as the insightful and legendary artist as he is.
More than a masterpiece. Love to listen to Rex's songs and this one touches my heart anytime I listen to it. God bless him and those that contributed to shaping highlife music
This song right here was one of my father's favourite. I never paid attention to the lyrics even though it was been played frequently at home. I later listened to the song and later realized why it was one of Okra's favourite
Live instruments make all the difference. A lot of the tracks nowadays are 'synthesised'. But live instruments surpasses that and it improves the ear of the musician and their ability to create new sounds. We need to go back to live instruments

I wonder who recorded the sounds with that quality at those old days. Classic old sounds surpassing modern 3D sounds it's simply amazing 💯🙏❤️✅✈️🐐
They used to record in Germany oo, with quality equipment.
