Uhh hey guys... I'm the question asker here. I feel the need to clarify that I wrote them this email when I was about an hour deep in an edible and literally forgot that I'd sent it until I listened to this episode a couple weeks later.
I hope you went for the obvious solution the boys missed: Buy a whole bunch of expensive looking big camera equipment and leave it visibly poking towards the squirrels, out your own window. Give it a week and they'll be knocking on YOUR door asking to see YOUR squirrel pics. Make this squirrel perv come to YOU!
Alternatively: If you cannot get a hold of camera equipment - you may use a scoped long-rifle instead. If using this alternate method - The tenor of the conversation with the squirrel-watcher will be different... But after some hasty explaining, the outcome should be the same
I've been a supporter since 2016 and haven't cracked open the BoCo until last night, specially for Platos Rave. I just listened to the setup episode and I'm about to go into the actual TAZ episode.

Justin was not deceived by AI, those are in fact photos from a man named Geert Weggen who is a photographer specifically of squirrels he has BTS videos on his Instagram. Now Geert does use AI to generate random images he posts on his account occasionally but they are much different than his photos.

During the show they should reference the UA-cam channel more often for heavily visual bits like these so people can remember to come here. They usually only say it during times when people (unfortunately) skip part of the show like the money zone and the ending. Side note: if you’re doing that, the money zone is sometimes the funniest part of the show.
So thats why i have such vivid memories of this question It was during the platos rave episode i listened too while half asleep sick to death with shingles I was practically dreaming this episode But hey credit to the brothers this episode holds a special place in my heart because it gave me the only good night of sleep i ever got while i was recovering from shingles
My favourite part is that Griffin did a wonderful! segment on squirrels two years earlier (episode 184). He really does like those little guys. Just not, I guess, photos of them
This solidly reminded me these boys are indeed American in Europe seeing an apartment/house behind yours and assuming you can find it easily is not a given they are not guaranteed in the same DIMENSION as you the way these streets work

I had a photography professor in college who said he would automatically fail anyone who turned in a photo of “ an empty park bench, a homeless person, or a squirrel.” The park bench is cliche, the homeless person is both deserving of dignity and privacy and also might get into an argument with you if you take pictures of them, and squirrels are just too ubiquitous and trite. Griffin would get along with my photography professor.
I remember when I listened to this episode I looked up “squirrel in a pot” so I could see the picture they were looking at… DON’T LOOK THAT UP it was all pictures of squirrels in a cooking pot and it made me really sad 😢
My dog was flipping his lid earlier and I went to see - there was a squirrel eating an eggroll on our deck. This isn't even the first time we've had this happen. Griffin is right
