Never climb mt. fuji off season, from late autun to early summer.
If you do this, you'll be dead because of its lower temperature.
Four climbers died on mt.fuji in early july this year 2024.
If you have an accident on mt. fuji, you will be charged a high fee for rescue.

Thank you very much for the kind words.
Off season hike in October should be fine without snow hiking experience.
But there might be some cases where we get an early snow at the peak. So having set of skills like how to use the ice ax, how to walk on crampons and how to self-arrest is important.

Hi!! First of all thank you for watching. In August there won’t be much snow in the mountain. So, it will be a summer hike. If the weather is good the hike will be easy.
I recommend Yoshida trail because it is accessible. There are a lot of transportation (buses) going to the 5th station from major cities in Tokyo, like Shinjuku, during the peak season.
If you are a seasoned hiker, I don’t think you’ll need a hut. But timing is tricky! Usually in Summer I start late at night and wait for the sunrise then go down. Are you going solo?
