I got 12/15, I’m really enjoying this series. I’m glad these are actually good questions, not baby easy like “how many wood planks does it take to craft a boat” and not stupid hard like “how much xp does it take to get to level 1326” (Not counting the last question)

Technically light 8 is produced by light 8 (it is a real block on Java edition) I got 7.5 and my dad got 2
13/15. Also for the thumbnail, I'm 100% choosing coal. Emerald can spawn a few y levels lower than 0 and have really high spawn rates within their respective biomes, while deepslate coal can only spawn above y0

Actually, Deepslate Emerald Ore is the rarest ore in the game. It's rarer than ancient debris. Normal emerald ore is quite common in their biomes, though.
@Peter Hovan While that may be true (debris is more common), it's almost impossible for deepslate coal to generate bc deepslate starts generating at y0, and coal stops generating at y0. They almost never overlap and may only overlap due to weird cave generation.
I'm pretty sure that deepslate emeralds are near impossible, as the deepslate can spawn a bit above y=0 for the "fade" that it has whereas emeralds can spawn mostly at y=256 with a very low chance of spawning below y=0. ( I'm not looking for documentation on how low this chance is) I actually thought deepslate emeralds are impossible in 1.18+ but then I checked and it is. also deepslate copper is a contender but I'm not sure whether it's more common than coal I have definitly seen more deeplate copper.
you could also make the argument that emerald is less likely due to it being rare even in 1.17 chunks whereas the other 2 1.17 "exclusives" are very likely in 1.17.

I am pretty sure bubble columns don't directly generate. Before 1.13, where bubble columns weren't in the game yet, it used to be that things like liquid spread instantly when generating a new chunk.
That was removed in 1.13, so bubble columns take time to happen. They are not generated.
That instant liquid spread in 1.12 was actually pretty cool, since you could get permanent instant tile ticks when you update supressed that.
During instant tile ticks, there are some advanced glitches possible. The gravity block exploit allowed you to get any falling block, like falling end portal.

@@TwooPoint0 Yes, but the if you place soul sand beneath water, you have to wait a second before the bubble column generates.
So technically, the bubbles don't generate directly. I am aware of magma ravines, these are used in the Minecraft world record.

For the last question I went with 16^6 because I was pretty sure it was hexadecimal but didn’t have time to figure 16^6 out in the 3 seconds so I thought 12,326,391 sounded about right. Basically, lucky bs

For question 15, I started with 16^6 to get in a decent range of options A-C, then guessed 15^6 might account for repeat combinations. 15^6 = 11,390,625 which is closest to B.

I got 7/15 but THAT'S ONLY BECAUSE for the light levels question I though all were possible because of the implementation of the light block, which allows all light levels to be emitted from it. Still a great quiz, though. That was fun. :)

8:18 this question is not simple. If you include the Light (JE) or Light Block (BE), answer D would be the correct answer.
In Java and Bedrock, coming into contact with TNT does make it ignite.
I play both versions and have seen it happen.
For which block generates the least frequently, how can the answer be A if I find it in every world whereas some worlds I don’t find diamonds.
Redstone dust has 8 stages as it has 8 different redstone signals if not counting the update with the calibrated skulk sensor, meaning the answer would be water, but up to date is redstone.
I never even knew glow lichen exists, I got no clue what it is, I know what glow berries are.
If glow lichens don’t exist, then it has to be 0%.
Question 9: Chat GPT is correct, frosted ice isn’t a block so it would have to be normal ice because if you copy a block then break the block, it still stays in your inventory, it doesn’t disappear, when using frost walker, the current block there is ice so you would get ice.
Question 10: Packed ice not only had a higher blast resistance but also also takes longer to burn if it even does.
Question 12: Minecraft Bedrock Enderman can’t pick up any of the 4, the first two don’t even exist in Bedrock Edition yet.
Question 14: Minecraft Bedrock the answer is 9
Question 15: The answer is how many tinted glass colours are in the game, but if you mean combination of colours then I don’t know.

The Light Block produces every single light level.
1:09 technically lava can ignite tnt but only if fire spread is enabled. Tnt is a flammable block, so it can be set on fire when in contact with lava, same with wood or wool, and that fire can then spread into the tnt block itself, igniting it. So while it’s not as direct as the other sources, lava absolutely can ignite tnt completely independently

In the past magma blocks had a feature where they kept the light level that they have been exposed to
Thumbnail is A. Deepslate emerald ore can only be found in mountains at deepslate level, if you're lucky no deep dark interrups its generation. While both ores are rare deep underground, coal can be found at any biome. In fact, I found more deepslate coal than any deepslate emerald in one of my survival worlds

for question 3, TNT actually ignites when near lava, just not instantly, as it needs time to catch on fire

I spent 12 hours searching for deepslate emerald with no success. My friend then mines in the same tunnel for 10 minutes and finds one. It is an understatement to say I was annoyed.
In bedrock, tnt can ignite using lava. It takes some time for the fire to spawn on top of the lava

i got number 15 right
there are 11 different colours in minecraft and to make a new colour you stack stained glass on a beacon. every time you add a colour it can be out of 11 different colours so 11 to the power of x is the how many there are. seeing as the units of 11 is 1, every time you multiply 11 by itself, the answer will end in 1. B was the only answer ending in 1 so that was easy
The last question was the easiest, no Minecraft knowledge required! A is divisible by 2, but not by 4, B is divisible by 9, C and D aren't even divisible by 3. You'd generally expect the number of combinations to be a very divisible number, so B is the correct option!
