- This weeks video is what Ronnie eats in a day. We have just started weaning at 4 months old - & I thought this video may be helpful to some who are perhaps soon starting to wean or currently weaning.

You have not properly researched if you did your research on when you can start weining in uk, it states 4-6months so shut up and mind your business. Every baby is different.

Can I just ask what Ronnie’s weight was when you started? And how many ounces of formula was he having a day before you started solids?

Wow baby seems to enjoy his solids.. I just started my baby is 4 months and we are currently just doing smooth pumpkin once a day in the evening. Lol he doesn't like it much right now
I'm happy that he loves solids and you are doing great job momma. BUT I'm worried he might have bowel problems in the future. Just saying because it happened to my 1st son and I wouldn't want any baby or mom go thru this. I'd started to introduce him solids at 4 months too and he loved it just like your son but as I said we had build problems. Now he is 3 and still can't go to the bathroom without Miralax every other day.
How is your son doing?
Maybe your son needs more water or liquids
Can you go more in depth on the bowel problems your son has? I started my son on solids already 4 months but all these comments are making me regret it
@@marissaortega1968 my son is 4 months and we just started solids, his formula made him super constipated but once solids were introduced he’s regular now and doesn’t have as much spit up 🤷🏻♀️
I'm starting my son on solids at 4 months, due to him getting bowel problems with fomula and acid reflux so every mummy and child is different.
Is it ok to give my 4 month old daughter processed baby foods? Im asking because I thought it is only fresh purees etc.
Did you start at 4 mths....I think my little girl is ready cos she is always looking at my food and trying to grab my hand to her mouth
Once they start watching you eat and smacking there lips, mocking ur movements of chewing it’s time to get their own food bc then yours will be come theirs 😭🤭

I don’t think he was ready. He can’t even sit up on his own, he’s leaning to the side.. poor thing! It’s still supposed to be the same amount of bottles a day, and just 2-4 tablespoons of baby food. And way too much variety way too soon! Start with single purées!
Sorry but all baby’s don’t have to be sitting up right to be able to eat. My mother had to solid feed my sister at 4 weeks because she was tongue tide. So if they allowed it then, then what makes you think that him not even sitting upright is a sign he’s not ready? Or is your brain filled with what paediatricians tell you?
Oh and the same with my grandmas son, 1 month old and eating solids because formula wasn’t enough for him. Your comment is very invalid and very judgmental, this mama wasn’t even asking for comments like this and yet just showing her experience on how it goes for her and maybe giving the mums out there that have no choice but to start weaning a bit of relief that it’s okay.

How often do you give ronnie a bottle? I give my little one 8 ounces every 5 hours and wandered what you did 🙂

Anusha Benhur hi anusha, Ronnie didn’t really feed through the night.. he slept so well, but on occasions he did wake, we would give him a bottle to resettle him xx
He can’t even sit up on his own yet and she’s cramming food in his mouth. Lord help her!
Why are you rushing him? Take your time with the baby, you will regret it in the end. They grow up so fast as it easy. Let him be a baby for as long as you can and enjoy him!

Milk is brain food. He is too tiny. You may be sorry.
My little boy is 4 months old and we’ve just started trying him with Ella’s kitchen fruit purées. He had his 1st on today gave him 4 spoonfuls about an hour after his bottle. Planning on giving him little bits in between each bottle and see how he goes 😊
We also started weaning after 4 months, some baby porridge, but mostly home made veg and fruit pure, Tommie tippee easy cook is great little machine to make healthy fresh meals.

When do you give cool boiled water between meals? My baby is coming up to 4 months and he is a hungry boy so don’t think milk will keep him satisfied much longer!

It’s definitely okay to give baby cereal or start baby food at four months but they’re supposed to still have the same amount of bottles a day

I think he is too young to start solids....but to each their own.
You can start as early as 4 months. That’s what my son’s pediatrician told me
Check the uk health organisation recommendations its 4-6months and world organisation is 6 months. We have access to variety of foods so we can start them early. Don't judge without research

Most doctors new recommendation is 4 months now versus 6 months provided they have good head control and no tongue thrust reflex. This is very very common
