i have the same unit device as yours, i did everything in the manual, i'm connected to the wifi repeater but there's no internet connection. how to fix this problem?
Yeah the problem is that you need too go too the people who did you buy it from and tell them too set wirelessly too work without a cable like that or you need too buy a long ass huge internet cable too connected directly from the WiFi router too the like this mini router ok yeah I got the same one but that's like the only way mine too is working ok yeah

antennas go upwards for good signal this is done by rotating the plug on the unit

I also have the TP link repeater. Speed is just the same. Sometimes the Pix-Link is even more reliable. The only drawback is the SSID

Due to conflicts & collisions
Wi/Fi Speed is usually ALWAYS slower when you are relaying an existing signal.
Think of your Wi/Fi attempt to communicate as like lots of people all trying to have separate conversations in a busy room, and your get some ideas of the problems.
Increasing power ( shouting louder ) will be only a temporary solution, because soon everyone will also be shouting ...
So what's best ::
Here::
Mount the repeater as close as possible to the intended coverage erea. ( Here we have a room where special restrictions apply to what electrical devices may be installed within it )
hence we must place are extender externally .to this room.
Ok where is best ??
Generally::
because of the matterials used within them,
walls will present much GREATER signal loss than ceilings or floors.
Therefore I suggest that this installation would be best optimized
if:
1) in order to optimise signal strength, the extender was sited above or below " the bathroom "
2) to eliminate signal conflict, ( also ) hardwired back to the main router using a LAN cable ..
3) to minimise signal collision/conflict, set to a WiFi channel well away from other STRONG wi/fi signals ( especially your own ) ..
Example::
router ( channel 1 )
extender ( channel 13 )
or 2 channels as far apart as possible ..

Kakaorder ko lang ng ganito, kaso di umaandar yung nareceived ko, kahit i connect kona gamit ethernet wala din, naka sindi lng power led nya pero wala access kahit sa wifi at ethernet, pano kaya to ifix or sira na talaga?

is there a way to have a password on the repeater so that only I can use the repeater without changing the main wifi password? Im using it to extend the piso wifi from the neighbor and I dont want others to connect to my repeater for free.
As a review of the actual device, it lacks the "review" bit. This is more like an introduction to the concept of a repeater. A review would normally have some sort of comparison section where it would be rated against other devices; range, speed, ease of use, security (no password on admin?!), etc.
I would rather create a separate video about repeaters in general and mention that in the intro and be very specific about this device.

Hopefully someone can help, does anyone know if the Lv-wr09 have a recovery mode, I've tried the 30-30-30 second reset but I'm still not able to get a response from "server" I'm attempting to upgrade the firmware after a interrupted firmware upgrade fail happen (I cannot access the router and just need a way for it to be able to except/allow the firmware update through tftp. Just for the info Speed test is almost useless. You need to test the signal strength for the WiFi to be reliable. The signal strength should be between -30 dbm to -63 dbm. And people would like to know from a review is how far did you put it from your router what are the obstacles and how far the signal is still strong enough.

Why couldn't you name it the same as your main SSID? Seems like it would allow it.
