Hi Megan. I love your videos. Regarding the mattress topper I recommend placing it in a vacuum seal bag before placing it in the Veno bag. This way it is compressed and protected, then there will be extra room for things your kids acquired during the school year. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Hey, Megan - thank you for the many useful tips. Your speaking style and pacing are very relaxing, user friendly! Now hoping you can do a part 2 to actually show how to pack those bags and WHAT you and your child have included. That's the part of preparation where we get stumped. Can't seem to fit things into bags as efficiently and neatly as you have done. Also, can you show your packing lists? Was interested to see what you included in the plastic bin for cleaning products… and wondering if your kid approved and agreed to the products. Did you include a stick vac?
Hello! The packing list is in the description part of this video if you click on description you can see what went inside each bag. Cleaning supplies I’ll have to post back exacts but think typical stuff like dish soap for cleaning water bottles in sink, Windex, toilet cleaner, Mr clean magic erasers, lots of Clorox wipes, air freshener spray for bathroom(boys), etc. I did pack a Bissell stick vacuum list in on of the bags. Thanks for watching!
Another tip which I should’ve discussed but forgot(I was nervous) is wash everything you can ahead of packing like sheets, towels, etc. also unbox everything you can to make more room and save on garbage you’ll have to throw away at the dorm like the vacuum I unboxed that and put inside a bag.
Could not figure out how to post or link my son’s dorm room stuff picture. If you would like to “see” search Facebook under dorm chatter page. Sorry I thought I’d be able to upload
No sorry but daughter’s list 95% the same as son. Only additions are female products, decor, etc. and she did different colors but used all the same items

Great tip!
I would love to have your boy packing list as well. Thank you so much for doing this! Very helpful!
The packing list is already provided in the description which is right below the video
