Layefa Beauty Hi, Just saw this Video cause I was looking up Videos in Places to Visit. So myself and a couple of my friends internet to travel to Ghana December 2020, just to celebrate our graduation. I have been saddled with the responsibility of Making all preparations, but I am stuck cause I don’t where to start from. It would be nice if you could direct me to a travel agency, or if we could travel without the help of one. Thanks

I visited accra during the summer. I am American and only stayed for 3 days. My boyfriend is from togo so we were there for 5 weeks. I which we could have stayed there longer. I don't speak french or the african dialect so it was so nice to talk to the staff at the hotel!!!! It is sooo Americanized in Accra so i felt more comfortable.

D Kwa I agree with you. I went to Cape Town for a week and it was a good surprise. Coming from L.A, I felt like I was in Malibu or Santa Monica. Green Point, Sea Point etc... I don’t know nothing about Ghana but I doubt that they are as developed as South Africa.

Ghana is one of the few African countries I would consider retiring to. Cameroon is my country and would have loved to retire there but it's on the verge of war and the English side where my family is from is suffering.

@@dondee8214 I was born on the west side and raised in the south side of Atlanta Ga, (Grady Baby). You are confused to say the least. Atlanta is the epitome of party , new dances, and showing off. Atlanta is another " horror comedy show / useless piece of shit." And it's the south so it won't take long for those whites to show you your worth in america. If you are part of the self hating blacks who try your very best to please them, such as switching up your voice to appear less of a threat, they will love you and make you their token black friend, so they can say "I'm not racist, one of my closest friends is black." I think you are comparing oranges and apples here my friend. Is America racist? Hell yes. Do I have white friends? No I have never had a white friend and it has been 28 years since I came to Atlanta. Is the south of USA a racist area, yes. What u are missing is the following.
1. Ghana is a piece of shit. Nothing works well. Accommodation like what this lady is showing us is exclusively for expatriates. I don't know u, but I suspect u either can't afford 2500$ or wont spend 2500$ on an apartment like this. When u are America and u come to Ghana everyone is nice to u so you might not understand. Just to get a passport u have to bribe someone.Just to get a birth certificate in the country you were born, u have to beg and bribe. Everybody does whatever they want. U can ran a red light 5 seconds after everyone has stopped. You can drive on the pavement kill a poor child with your car and nothing happens to you, your insurance company won't even pay the child's family any money. So yes it's a shit hole. When was the last time one of your white oppressors refused to give you a copy of your birth certificate or drivers license unless you bribed them. When you go to the DMV where ever u live in Atlanta, do u see a bunch of confused people just begging and bribing to get public services? No. You are taking all that for granted. I do not have the same issues with white people as you do for obvious reasons. My parents and grandparents don't have stories about Jim Crow to tell me. I know who they are, I avoid them. I don't change my voice. Ghanaians are usually mild mannered by nature/maybe nurture? and As far as I am concerned I don't fraternize with white people, mind my business. Now if you want to talk about institutionalized racism, which one has to deal with even if they ignore whitey, I can guarantee you that as bad as it is today, it is 10000 times easier to find a decent job in Amerikkka than to find a job in Ghana where everyone is black. I love my country and yes it's a piece of shit. Just like you love your bad child. To deny that African leaders are useless animals who cause death and suffering of millions of people by selling out to the white man is to indeed be in denial. Come to Ghana I will give u free accommodation in Osu, a nice apartment overlooking the ocean. It's free. Someone offered me 1500$ a month recently to stay there while I was gone for 6 months. That makes no sense. It's not even worth 600$ if u ask me, but due to lack of decent accomadation in the city prices are so ridiculous. Meanwhile just a little rainfall and the whole city is deluged like Noah came to town. Please Cory I understand your disdain for America due to what your ancestors went through, but we must call a spade a spade. We welcome you back brother. Just be prepared to deal with bullshit and counter logic on a daily basis. The people are nice and happy. You will need at least $4000 a month to live good. Welcome my brother. It's a piece of shit but we love it. We just don't want Nigerians and other people to think these pictures and apartment represent Ghana . Not even remotely.
