The range test might be better done in a real life environment. Line of sight in the wide open spaces doesn't tell me how it will perform on stage with other equipment between me and my amp. The price is reasonable for those starting out and I agree about 5.8MHz. The other thing to consider is that when one end goes down, you have to replace the whole thing on stage. With a battery pack transmitter, you can pop it out - new one in - ready to go. Certainly a system to consider, though.

Is the sound quality better than the Lekato WS-50?
Looks like it’s 5.8Ghz, I’d say that it’s quite capable and quality enough to buy!
