Here we are, two years later. Funnily, 2 days ago was the second anniversary of uploading this video to UA-cam, and on that date - the 26th of April - was exactly 17 days (also the HW: Cataclysm final mission's number in this video) until the release of Homeworld 3 that's just around the corner: May 13th.
We've come so far, and yet there's still so much to do and discover. Are you hyped for Homeworld 3? I know I am. 🔥✌😏🔥

I could swear the Taiidan voice is Tim Russ, but he's not in the credits so it's a very accurate facsimile.
Ironically, this voice is also from the Manaan carrier from the first mission, the sneak attack on Hiigara suddenly makes a whole lot of sense now "shifty eyes"

Just one correction: you mean the Naabal carrier in the first mission then - the Manaan carrier appears only as of the 5th mission. Naabal is in the first. "This is Kiith Naabal carrier VEER-RAK to any Hiigaran ships in range."

it's already been more than 20 years. I still remember they said"wait with your mates and children". I was in the university with the major of English education. the use of "mates" was rather new to me at that time. I used some of the phrase in the cinematic scene of this game in my writing and my teacher (from Australia) told me to stop talking like that and asked me where did I got those words and phrases...
"Mate" has multiple meanings and uses in English. As someone whose primary language is not English either, I too find it weird. Mate can be a friend, a love partner, and some other things I can't think of right now, but you get the point. That's why I use alternative words when wanting to express myself, to reduce confusion as much as possible. Regards. 😉

Thank you. Yeah, I was down for a long time because of it. I mean, it's just not fair - "lost the source code"? And then the information pops up that they don't need it. I say they could have made HWC a part of the Remastered as well, they just lacked the will to do it.

If you ask me, it was likely a dispute/issue with Barking Dog Studios, who created Cataclysm. They probably just didn’t have the rights to it or something.
