- Spending 2 hours hiking for this majestic waterfall, it is definitely a no regret. Lata Medang is one of the famous huge waterfall in Kuala Kubu Bharu, which is just an hour plus drive from KL. Video is quite lengthy but I hope you find it helpful and informative. You can also listen to all our nonsense along the way! :D
Remember to keep the place clean and absorb all the nature you can get.

Yes, Audrey. You would need permit to hike this place. Indeed its a very beautiful waterfall :)
I don't think its open. All hiking route under Selangor forestry will be closed till 31 January 2024. There are few friendly hikes that you can explore around such as Bukit Ketumbar, Bukit Guling Ayam and Bukit Sri Bintang. Happy Hiking🥳

Yes you would need a guide for this hike. Usually I will find in facebook group pages such as Hiking Activist Community Around Malaysia (HACAM) or Trailblazer Hiking Club Malaysia (THCM)

Thank you for your support! Im a big fan of Lata Medang, Sungai lepoh and Jeram Perlus.. I'm sure there are much more waterfalls around Malaysia, but I have not seen them.. You should check out Lata Tengkoh Penyel, Buaya Sangkut waterfall, and Waterfall Sungai Kooi! 🥳
Go to padang batu/jaang waterfall at kuala rompin pahang and you will be amazed

You're lucky brother haha, we got caught for trespassing, suggest whoever wants to go to take permit, because the process once you trespass is so complicated

i have never commented, but i hope you could also put disclaimer and reminder in your videos for your viewers to go to these places you shared, to visit responsibly. get a proper permit, find an experienced guide to lead your hike, bring out trash/rubbish out as you them in, please dont litter and leave behind trash, be alert while swimming and read the environment (an experience guide will be able to read the weather, depth of the river etc,kepala air) and also, follow the SIGN 😮 (trespassing isnt a thing you should be sharing on your video) please. it is there for a reason.
