Case 9900 Cane Harvester Prototype

This Case 9900 has been modified to blow the trash leaves over the tracks rather than out the back of the machine. This is to create a mat for the harvester and tractors to drive on and reduces contact with mud and clay.

Now I know what "Extraneous Material Management" is - I've always wondered, - lol. Interest idea, did the farm do the conversion or did Case do it. - It's so nice to see some 'Red' in the fields for a change. Now the years are passing and spares are hard to get, it's becoming just Green and Red on more and more farms, - sad really, but I suppose that's what they call progress. - I expect some of the machines will turn up in 'Third World' Countries, but no one seems to video them much in those places. - I see we've moved from the 'moody' sunsets onto 'Google Earth' maps, it was interesting and I've never seen it like that before on a 'farming' video, - but i think I preferred the sunsets, - great video as always.👋👍👍👍.
