A person could be ludicrously kind (Leslie Knope.) Characters on 30 Rock are unique in that they are genuinely terrible and toxic.

Them being toxic is what makes it satire, smartypants. Just like the gang in Sunny. They havr to be toxic and awful for it to be maximum satire. But like you say, satire isn't for everybody. It's ok if you don't understand it.

they really couldn't. if you pitched this show today the network would say, "Hey isn't that 30 Rock?", and, "We hated 30 Rock!" smh woke correctness gone mad.
