I am a newbie to EV ownership, but have been a Tesla fan for over a decade. However, this aircraft carrier deck fighter launch has resulted in my extremely high expectations to be missed badly - somehow, I greatly underestimated my new Cybertruck’s capabilities and features. Add to that the landing of FSD well ahead of what I anticipated and I now find myself blindsided by my own Michael J. Fox “Back to the future!” moment. This is equivalent to trying to quench my thirst from the end of a fire hose. I’m feeling a bit boated, but seem to be having the most difficulty trying to figure out how to program a specific turn by turn (fly through waypoints) route to a specific end destination into navigation. Think of it like wanting a guided tour that you can call up at will and activate FSD to take you there, not by the fastest direct route, but by my own serpentine scenic meandering path. I would think a Robotaxi with preprogrammed guided tours would be of great interest to Tesla for the future, but I want it now (call me impatient). Am I just missing how to do this (call me getting old)?
You can select a destination on the map and then click edit trip to add multiple destinations, reorder them etc to give you that route you want... you can also pin a location on the map and save it as a favorite destination and navigate close to it (doesn't work perfectly but it's pretty nice). ua-cam.com/users/shortsy28Z9z1YCdI?si=G0aVwpbvaSad9aaK
@@skylerity Yes, I got that far, but it wants to stop at each pin. I know, it’s close, but there should be a toggle for a pin to stop or proceed. Thanks for the reply. I do appreciate your time. 😀😀😀
@@retiredbitjuggler3471 no worries! Ah I see yeah that would be neat. In that case before you arrive at the destination, edit the trip and remove the first stop then it will continue on to the next haha. Thanks for watching!
@@tigranhayrapetyan3188 yes! I’ve got an appointment to get it installed along with Cybertruck PowerShare asap. The 120v really isn’t cutting it for the cybertruck. So slow. On my model 3 and Y it was fine but still not ideal.
Just got two installed. Can charge up to 9KW now. Had the second one installed to charge batteries. I can charge 7-9KWh on the truck from batteries at 3KW AND I can put the batteries in the bed as a remote destination range extender. Went with this option over powershare. May still get powershare in the future if they ever get grid load sharing so you can sell back to the grid.
Elon said in his gaming livestream a few days ago that Grok will either elevate us or destroy us LOL. He himself is an enigma. can't wait for it to hit the Teslas!! wish the Y had a headlight flash button, good for us with tinted windows
@@skylerity i did limo tint 5% on the back for my dogs for total privacy, and i think 20% up front. i wouldnt really go any darker up front personally, would be hard to see.
@@skylerity go 15 instead of 30 for sure, I adapted to 20 really quickly. Sometimes i wish i had another 5% tint especially right now in road trip season with the sun. I don't drive at night as much as I thought I would so visibility aint bad
@@tonpul321 thanks for the input on that. I was a bit worried it might be too dark but heard a few opinions such as yours that make me think it’ll be good. I have an appointment at the end of the month!
@@zenci21 I tried this video with my 360 cam to see how it would work but I didn’t like it for this format either. My other videos are filmed normally.
If this 360 camera footage is bothersome, you might enjoy my new video instead, “Why I Love the Cybertruck”, which was filmed with a normal camera.
Definitely putting out the most legit content about the Cybertruck! I appreciate the honesty with zero BS. Subscribed
Thanks man, I really appreciate that 📐🚀
9:55 Skyler, that’s the most organized bicycle and skateboard storage wall that I’ve ever seen!

Dude you need to install 50am 240v NEMA 14-50 outlet in your garage. 120v did you’re using it not gonna charge your Cybertruck fast.
