Steam and snow are always a great combination. I really like the filming in darkness and appreciate your efforts on such a cold day. Many thanks for sharing the footage.
What a wonderful and interesting video. Some of the shots, especially out in the countryside, were for me, positively poetic! This is one that I shall play over and over. Thanks so much for braving the temperatures to get such marvellous images.
Full of atmosphere as usual! I liked the long shot where it looked as if it was in monochrome with the black silhouettes against snowy fields. As always, Oakworth looks great at night. Well worth your turning out with Penny.
I've always thought it slightly cheeky how the LMS claimed to have been responsible for the construction of every loco it inherited that was built before 1923.
Yes. They changed all the loco builder's plates. I did not realise this when I saw an LNWR plate dated 1923 and thought 'that's a fake'. It was going cheap in a junk shop but I passed up the chance to buy it! Darn.
Liked the shots. I just wished the loco had been squared up which would have led to a slightly better performance. You can hear she is out of time when running light. She is slightly lame with the coaches but still sounds great.

Great shots and stunning lighting. Is the 4f meant to have that knocking sound?
