You guys are top tier in this travel space. You guys inspired me to go on Virgin Voyages this past January. It was epic. Going again in June!! 🎉🎉
Aww thank you. Omg Virgin is soooo epic lol
Also, pay attention to your policy amounts. We get the yearly policy through Allianz. Some covered items are PER TRIP and some are PER YEAR. It was cheaper for the 3 of us to have yearly coverage. It is only $550 total for a year. We went heavy on the emergency transporation, medical, amputation, vision and dental. After seeing the video interview with the woman who fell and broke her hip while on a cruise, we started getting travel insurance. She was medivaced to 3 different places before one could fix her hip. All that totaled over $360k. She said it put them in bankruptcy.
Whew! Yes, I agree you have to know the terms.
Omg this is very helpful. I get individual travel insurance for each of my vacations and I’m throwing $ down the drain.
Heppy Tuesday, fam. Maybe some folks don't realize that passports are good for 10 years. A passport is so important. Once you have that 1st pp, the next re-up is easier and quicker.
Amen
Overpaying for professional pictures. Cost us over $2000. Take your own pictures and print them out.
We did a few of their “professional” pics and did not like any of them. We liked the ones we took much more.
Amen lol
over 20 cruises and ive never purchased insurance. make sure you tell the matre'd in the mdr on the first day if you have a food allergy. the rest of your meal times will be much better.
Wow so much great info! I’m going on my 1st cruise with Royal ( 2nd cruise total) with Grandeur of the seas Dec 2024. Thanks for preparing me and my family! ❤
Great tips! Researching the ports of call - we didn’t realize the where we ported in St. Thomas on Icon would be different than where we ported on Celebration. Got off the ship looking crazy like, “Where are we?!” 😂
Hahaha. We did the same in Honduras… I kept saying this isn’t it lol
@@LifeWithUsTV 🤣🤣
Hey Lynnette and Stanley. These are all important and great tips for all cruising period. A girlfriend of mine day 8 of a 10 day cruise realized she was not in airplane mode. She’s the kind you tell her things and she always knows everything. She tried debating with her phone carrier. They took maybe $200 off but it was a crazy bill. Thanks for the well needed reminders.
Oh wowww
Happy Tuesday Fam ❤
Y'alls timing is ALWAYS on points for me
Yeah!!! The video I needed!!!!!!!🎉
Thank you so much. Guys you rock
Great advice
You guys always give out great information. Great job.😊😊😊
This video came right on time! I’ll be on my first cruise ever next week with RC.
Have fun
Thank y’all so much!
Solid tips for Royal Caribbean and other lines, thanks for sharing
Last Royal cruise was 2008. Going to Alaska in the fall on a bigger ship, traveling with a different Boo and will be mindful of allllll these tips!
Aww shucks!!
Thank you ❤
Thank you! My wife and I are traveling on Allure of the seas in October. Can’t wait!
Great information and tips ! I’ve been cruising a while now and you still hit points of information I never thought of or knew.
I love this channel and so happy I found it! I'm planning a cruise for my aunt's birthday and it has been overwhelming.
We love you guys! We watched all of your videos before our first cruise in ten years when we sailed carnival last summer. Now we are a month away from family cruise number 2 on Royal! Perfect timing for this video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 got me thinking harder about travel insurance 😬
This is the best channel ever. Going on Mardi Gras May 25th. I've heard RC is mostly for old people.
RC can be just depends on the ship
I just subscribed! Love your channel!
Thanks for subbing!
New subscriber here! This came in my feed at the perfect time. I’ve been trying to research for a cruise to take next year. This will be my first cruise so this information is very helpful to have. Thank you both ❤
Glad it was helpful!
If that something bad happens in a foreign country and you need to fly home, you can only use the passport book. Cards and birth certificates do not work for international flights.
Great advice, but I think this would apply for all cruiseline! The only difference with Royal is that they have rooms facing Central Park and such.
Because they all have the same blueprint for success
Great information about the phone service. I have a satillite phone. Also, you can get international phone service for when you get to your port of call so your bill is not high.
Celebrity Apex Saturday!!!
Lynnette, always listen to LynetteI I learned the hard way. Obviously, we also adore Stanley, but Lynette is amazing. Ignore her advice at your own peril
Aww you are too sweet 🥰
Leaving on the 31st for my 7th cruise but 1st RC...been watching y'all for all the tea!😂😂😂
🥰🥰
You should fly the day before, but I have never flown in the day before for my cruises in over 10 years. I always pick the earlies flight.
I feel like most of this is cruise common sense across the board. Not just exclusive to RCL.
Because there’s a blueprint but if you don’t know it… you don’t know it.
Hi! Going on our first RC cruise in 16 days out of Galveston on voyager of the seas for 6 days/5nights. I did a royal up bid (from a guaranteed ocean view balcony) to a junior suite THAT WAS ACCEPTED but had an outdated card on file and was notified that it was declined, I am so disappointed 😫
I’ve since updated my card and asked to rerun the bid and sitting here in anguish to see if they will have a room available when they try again.
So sad. That is all.
Love your channel ❤
Oh danggg!
Thanks for the video. What about gratuity and extra costs? Is it different from Carnival?
It’s no different but more expensive
I usually purchase travel insurance from the cruise line I hear alot of folks say purchase outside cruise insurance which is better? I appreciate all the great info love you two ❤!!!
It depends on the coverage
Hey Family ❤
Hey hey
Is there a travel insurance that ya'll recommend?
We use Travel Insured because we can increase certain aspects etc. Allianz is ok
So are you guys team Royal now?? I’m loving your Royal content!
Nope. We’re team travel. Royal has its place for low key cruising
@@LifeWithUsTV yeah that’s why I love Royal lol I love low key traveling lol but I’m no opposed to other lines. I have my first NCL cruise coming up in November. Should be interesting
Yes that’s going to be interesting fam. Keep us posted
Great info is the RC Vip Key worth the purchase. Also, can you add travel insurance after your initial deposit if you haven't finished paying off the trip.
Yes you can add insurance after but before final
@LifeWithUsTV Thank you so much for the reply . Your videos have helped us so much with our planning process.
Would you recommend purchasing wifi? First time cruiser w/ family in may on the wonder of seas
What about any spa packages?
Yep
Thanks for the info were is the closet terminal do va have a cruise terminal im from nc the closest one sc thats to far for me
Norfolk
Thanks I believe that would be closer to me and thanks for the information I never travel would like to
❤❤
Airplane mode for phones AND tablets!
I'm trying to figure out the classes. It's not really spelled out
Can you explain what you mean?
@LifeWithUsTV LOL, if I say Allure of the seas, I wouldn't know what class that is. Is there a trick to matching the ships with the class?
Yep. A quick google search will do the trick.
@LifeWithUsTV did that. I don't think you're following what I'm saying, but that's ok
👍🏽🤎👍🏽🤎👍🏽🤎👍🏽🤎👍🏽
These are points that can apply for ANY cruise. I was thinking you guys were going to share some information EXCLUSIVELY for Royal Caribbean.
Because ALL cruise lines are basically the same. This is just 1 video of the basics
@@LifeWithUsTV Ok.
Come on. Please tell folks. I’m tired of giving these tips constantly.
lol. I gotcha send em to me 😂😂
