Hey Transgarp. I was just saying what all the bike were in the movie . Evel had not been with Triumph since about 69 He Jumped American Eagles before jumping to HD in 71 . The reason for the Triumph was Eddie Mulder and Gary Davis . They did'nt want to crash and stunt that big HD . Mulder also is a Big Triumph racer and builder. These could have been his bikes but I 'm not sure. The seat section is not from an XR Too big and square . Although they got the tank right.
The frist version of the XR 750 was like a Sportster carb and pipes same side see On Any Sunday .Evel first used a Sportster then an XR 750 . Then the second XR 750 Pipes on left 2 carbs on right.
I do not know Mulder personally, but only via his performances with the PPIHC :) I liked much the track of the PPIHC of time that there were gravel sections, but knowledge completely asphalts some disappoint me
There are 4 Bikes in Viva Knevel . Only one is a real XR 750. 1 The stunts by Eddie Mulder and Gary Davis are done on the Triumph . It has a fake HD air cleaner bolted on the side . 2 A Sporster . When your leg is blocking the back pipe and the other is coming out the front . Well looks close enough. 3 XR 750 B4 the fire jump Evel is riding his XR 750 some parts reversed . Then when the crash starts it Evel at Wembly though Ed did crash the Triumph . 4 HD Cafe racer for the Stratocycle.

I know Mulder, it is him which wins the PPIHC of 2009 in vintage motorcycle class with its Triumph Bonneville 1969 #12 :)

Hey that's cool. Maybe you could ask him about the movie and bikes used , What stunts he did vs Gary Davis.. Were they his bikes ? .......
Oh and Evel went back to Triumph before retiring in 84.
He had to, Harley Davidson dropped him after he attack Sheldon Saltman.
