My FB friend Bobby Green is envolved with that Group bringing back the tail o the pup and the bowling alley too! So cool to see again, we used to go downtown and see the hotdog building.
Good afternoon Jordan 🌞 very nice Vlog as always. I love seeing these places saved and redone. Please give Jah a hug for me. Amy is so nice. . I hope that you have a nice afternoon 🦁❤️🐕👫
Jordan, thanks for publicizing 33Group and their preservation accomplishments. The fantastic wooden Idle Hour building is fantastic, but then there’s the lovely patio with the bulldog. Kudos to 33Group!!!
You caught me with the Idle Hour title! It gave me memories of driving past Idle Hour Ranch and looking for Sam the giraffe to and from work! Those themed buildings were really fun to see! There must have been a lot of them around LA!. Loved seeing the Jahster, can't get enough of him!
My first experience at a 1933 group establishment was at Oilfields Liquor Room in Culver City a few years back. They really do it right! Can't wait to see what they do with the Formosa Cafe!!
I love this vlog you never run out of places and it blows my mind. You can see clearly that Jah is your baby. I love the little bugger. My niece is a foster parent for unwanted dogs and she had one that was Jah's twin. I wanted the dog so bad but the company wanted 500.00 dollars and I couldn't afford it. With that being said Thank You Jordan for making my day as usual. Much love to you and Jah
💋Hi Lion💛’s. It is great to see these special places being saved by this group. Because once they are gone... Jah is King of the park twice in one day! Hi to Amy, love that she is such a big Elvis fan. Blessings and support. Love and Light 💖Carli
Oh, I’m also ordained by that church for about 18 years. How wonderful that someone is saving such cool roadside America. Love this! There were so many across the country. Loving that little Jah. Jah Rules! 😊
Preservation of places like this is what gives people a sense of place and community. Wonderful. Thank you for sharing this, and your genuine enthusiasm.
@@DazewithJordantheLion Having been a longtime preservationist, i must admit that i have been part of more causes lost than won. But those that are triumphs are all the more richer in that, i suppose. So my friend - when i see things like this transpiring elsewhere - it is a victory for all of us everywhere who share the passion for history - and truly fills the (lion) heart. ;-) Much appreciation.
Hi Jordan, I am so, so pleased that they have saved the Idle Hour, what a wonderful building. Oh, and the Bulldog Cafe, WHAT A BUILDING, how cute is that. How lucky was the Jahster and us today, TWO TRIPS to the dog park. Great vlog Jordan.
When I was a kid, it seems like my world contained places like this. This was before the freeways and beltways which circled big cities, and people no longer drove through the city to get places along the way. So much has disappeared or burned down to be lost forever. I'm delighted there are groups who still care about the restoration, and preservation.
I so enjoy Jah's "dog parkin". Love him so much! I love it when you show like the Lemon trees. Because my husband and his family lived there, in your area, until his Dad retired and moved back to Oregon. They had a lemon tree at their house and he tells me the story about those trees, (lemon, pomegranate, orange trees). I have always lived in Washington state, so no trees like that here. So seeing them is special for me. And OMG, I had no idea the inside of that "whiskey barrel" would be that big, or that beautiful! Did not know you could perform ceremony's. Cool!
Aww Jah is such a little darling and you look so happy Jordan !Gosh i love this sort of think novelty eateries and bars !! Happy 6 year anniversary !! big brother watching ha ha the eyeball ! thank you lovely vlog looking forward to seeing Amy again she is nice ! ;-)
Hi Jordan I'm new to your channel but have been marathon watching your vlogs! You have so many interesting stories about stars & old Hollywood, which I love, and locations too. You also seem to me a very nice guy with a good soul. Thank you for your vlogs and hugs&kisses to Jah!

There's a great book called 'California Crazy' that's loaded with fotos of these iconic L.A themed buildings fm the past. A new larger edition came out recently. Both 'Idle' & the 'Bulldog' are featured. Great Vlog,Jordan.
I was very young during the roadside attraction days. I loved those days except for no air conditioning in cars but we didn't know what we were missing. Love your vlogs like this. Thanks
I love roadside attractions, I grew up in Washington state where there are quite a few of these beautiful, creative buildings and old creative neon signs that are still in use. Thank you for taking me back to my childhood Jordan, love the vlog and history.😎🐶
Awesome Awesome Awesome! You are taking me back to California as it was when I was growing up. I came along a bit later, but a lot of these places were still around, and I remember as a young kid and I always wondered why California had lost the imagination it once had. Thank you so much! 🤗
"Hell yeah"!! Major shout out to group 33!! 😁 And to your Friend Jordan for donating the "tail pup" all in the name of historical preservation!! love all the architectural buildings you vlogged for us!! Can never get enough of Jah and his dog park friends!! Yes, in alot of ways dogs are just like kids and good behaviour should be rewarded! Look forward to your upcoming date vlog including Amy!!
Hi Jordan, I remember the pup cafe as a kid but don't remember if it was open or just sitting there after reading it was demolished when I was 10...my Aunt used to go there as a kid and has told me about it. It was just down from the street where she lives to this day. She is a wealth of information. Love your videos and knowledge of things around...🦁
The usual routine Jordan is rip down quirky, interesting or just loved buildings and replace them with boring plain same old same old, great to have people like this 1933 group who renovate and restore, Love the eyeball 😀, yep Jah was a good boy two trips to the park, deffinatly deserved Jordan, sounds like you have a great date planned for Amy xxx
Omg!!! I have to go there this year. This would be great for a Birthday surprise for my dad. I can't believe this building still existed. Thank you so much for sharing this. I was born and raised here in L.A and I've seen this type of building just forgotten and destroyed. Thank you.

Wow it looks pretty much like spring has sprung in your neck of the woods. We're under a flood watch here in Winnipeg, man I hope not. We have a Dollar Tree store here as well it looks very much like the one you were in. So nice to see the preservation groups bringing these mom and pop places back to life. I'd rather sit in one of these than a MacDonald's or Burger King. Kudoos, Jordan to another fantastic vlog!
Hi, just want to thank you so much for your amazing vlogs, I watch them from my computer in regional New Zealand, and feel like i am touring around that amazing Californian culture with you. I agree Jordan. More of those type attractions and places need to be preserved. They remind us of a simpler time, and to enjoy life a little more. Great as always!
Daze with Jordan the Lion wow I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your video vlogs. I am disabled and I get to see all these great places and learn so many things from you. You have brightened my days watching every thing you do and where you go and the best is your knowledge of interesting facts and stories! I would so love for you to come and meet us but especially to have Jah meet my Daisy. I am on FB like yourself and I will PM you my name and info.
