Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.
You covered the basics, but not all of them, the lack of pressure could also be because the water supply has low pressure such as from a well with a small pump and tank (not city water) I noticed that when using mine at my sons home across the road from me. My pressure washer works great at my place but I seem to run out of water at his place when the water pump at the well has a low water level in the tank. You need to wait for the pump and tank to catch up so it can supply the pressure washer. The other could be that there is a kink in the garden hose

Stewart, I have a Yanmar diesel power-washer. I just went out to try it for the first time time this year, I didn't electrically start it, turned on the water first and on the inlet side it just came pouring out of the green ringed thing on the bottom before water enters pump. You have one the same in your video, am I missing something, like a screw on cap? on the end of this or it this some type of safety mechanism that overflows? Thanks Harry
@@skyVacuk Hi, Just ordered a new green cap for inlet filter, just hope the frost hasn't damaged any internals, hopefully I'll get this in the next few days I'll give it a go. I see there is stuff called 'pump saver' for winter storage. I had in in the dry and covered, still had water supply connected to it though, that wont happen again, a good coating of WD40 wouldn't go a miss either for storage. On another note was going to add an additional 10 or 15 meters of hose to get up on roof and get around the house more, there would be a pressure drop with the longer distance? due to friction in pipe? I have an oil filled gauge with quick release, looks to be smaller the fittings on mine maybe 3/8..thanks Harry
Hi, my machine is same as this one in video. Last week my machine chemical injector worked great , first time I’ve used that part, today it didn’t siphon at atall. Any ideas why that would be. I did have a 10 m high pressure hose, but I replaced it yesterday with a different high pressure hose, could this be why. I now have a 20m hose , but no chemical came through at all
Hi Jo, thank you for your message. Sorry to hear you're having issues with your pressure washer - it will probably be best if we could arrange a telephone call with one of our technicians. This way we can discuss the problem you're experiencing in more detail and get to the route of the issue. How long have you had the machine for? If you would like to drop me an email with your details or call our office between 8 - 4, we'll be more than happy to advise. @@skyVacuk - Thanks for the nice reply. Since you discussed some important topics with illustrations, I went through it again several times and at 10:15 you showed something I was not aware about. Hopefully that is my problem. I repair small engines of many types, but a customer wanted me to look at his pressure washer in which water would not flow from input hose to the outlet. All pressure washers I've seen allow water to flow from in to out, even with the engine off, but his would not. I removed, the unloader knob and assembly, and it looked fine, but I didn't know about the 'shuttle'. Again many thanks if you have a comment about this. North Central Florida, US

My Pressure Washer problem has been 'fixed'. The problem: No water flowing thru pump with engine running. The solution: Grab the engine governor and run the engine speed WAY up. This caused a stuck pump valve to become free and start working. Release the engine governor. I did NOT do this, and do not consider it a final solution, but somebody else did, and the owner was satisfied. I doubt this will help anybody, but this case is now considered closed. Best to all.
I would appreciate your advice on this please. I was using my petrol pressure on a job yesterday when suddenly my machine started aggressively jumping and down whilst washing. I quickly stopped the clean and investigated. All seemed fine. I'm no expert and still new to pressure washing so would appreciate any help here. The machine was working hard throughout with some tough weeds for at least 6 hours. The machine was fine on low pressure rinsing down so could it 1 too much constant use? 2 the surface cleaner faulty? 3 water not getting through the pump? 4 filter needs cleaning 5 none of the above Thank you for advice
