Great video, and a good collection. Thanks for sharing it. Just a couple of things, as an old guy who has been collecting records for 50+ years - (1) it's not critical that you store the LP behind the jacket like that. You can, of course, and it makes it easier to remove the LP to listen to it, but jackets are made to protect your LP, so just keep in mind that when you do place them behind the jacket (and I do that too sometimes), the only thing protecting the LP from the elements/sliding back and forth on the shelf, etc., is that thin inner sleeve and the thin outer sleeve. Which brings up point (2) when you do place the LP outside of/behind the jacket, turn the inner sleeve such that the opening faces the interior of the outer sleeve. I.E., the opening is on the side, protected by the side of the outer sleeve, and not facing up. This is simply to minimize the amount of dust/debris that can accumulate on an LP when it is completely open and exposed at the top like that. Probably rambling on this more than I wanted to, but hopefully you get the idea and don't take it as a criticism, because it wasn't meant to be. Oh, and props for using outer and inner sleeves to begin with. It's not vital - and years ago we never did it - but it definitely helps protect your records (which aren't cheap). Whew. Ok. Done. Again, great vid and keep up the good work. And enjoy!
Loved this video, I feel like we like the same kind of music I almost expected to find my favorite artist of all time...Dusty Springfield (Mariah Carey is my 2nd) if you have heard of her id really suggest searching out some of her albums, she is an amazing British artist. Might even be cool to get a reaction vid!
I would collect vinyl if had money but as a student I cant use money for vinyl so i get cds instead. Older artists like madonna celine mariah u can get the cds used for like one dollar/euro at best scenario so its soo much cheaper
You make such a fair point. I used to be much more into CD collecting (I still do if there is no vinyl release). However, during Covid is when I really started expanding my collection. Sometimes, I wish I stuck to CD collection but I think I'm to far gone!

I adore the concept of confessions on a dancefloor, if youve seen the tour theres a great segment where the dancers first confess something painful from their past and then madonna makes the ultimate confession on a cross. The album is basically a full DJ set with her disguising messages inside dance type tracks. Jump, forbidden love, how high, like it or not and push all have significant messages concerning life though they sound surface level and future lovers, sorry, get together and hung up are just masterfully produced its hard to explain but its like 3D music to me? I love new york is the only song i dont really like from that album
Your vinyl collection is growing. You cannot go wrong with Cher. There have been many great releases by female singers in 2023 which I have bought: Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Kylie, Claire Richards (Steps), Doro Pesch, Agnetha Faltskog, Laura Macri, etc. My favourite I got on vinyl is: Floor Jansen - Paragon

I have the CD versions of many of your vinyl like the ones of Kylie, Britney, Madonna, Mariah, Barbra, Christina, Whitney, Katy Perry, Janet, Céline and of course Cher.
