For the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con, Disney placed two Fix-It Felix Jr arcade game machines inside the Tilt video arcade in San Diego's Horton Plaza in promotion of the film Wreck-It Ralph. Comic-Con attendees would receive a free T-shirt and Xbox avatar shirt download upon reaching a certain score. The arcade cabinet is designed to look like it's old and plays like a retro Donkey Kong-style game.
This game actually has a Kill Screen. It was fantastic seeing it.
They brought one of the machines to PAX, and sadly got it's stick busted. Yet, despite the joystick problems, someone was able to beat the world record and achieve such a kill screen. Major props to him.
What does it look like?
What was the kill screen?
If this was a real game in the 80s it would be incredible groundbreaking.
Quite literally lol
It was
Pretty accurate replica, straight from Disney themselves. Looks like it's nearly one-to-one with the original seen in the film, with a few glaring differences - no intro, no voice clips, a lot of the sound effects are different, and it looks like Super Felix works a bit differently.
Plus no big hole Ralph smashes in the building at the top.
They should make classic arcades again
kermit and sparkles po
Alas that time has passed
There are still classic games in places like Dave and Busters
Me just want another shooter arcade
Yeah
2011, made to look like it was an early 80's cabinet and did an AWESOME job doing it
Umm 10 yrs late but I heard they used actual arcade cabinate hardware to make it... So it also has a kill screen at level 80smthing
Fix-It Felix, Jr. was one of the most popular 2D platform games ever made. Launching in 1982, it became a pop culture sensation thanks to its colorful 8-bit graphics, simple controls, and addictive game play.
BAM. right off the wiki
They should have also added Ralph going missing occasionally to give the feeling of the movie, and Fix-It Felix being suprised Ralph is gone. That would be amazing.
Only on level 256
@@lexboo2525 No it's not. Disney confirmed it's made up.
@@aharonmrichardson3213 But does this game remind you of Mario vs. Donkey Kong?
@@dr.robotico7879 Yeah it does remind me of Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
@@aharonmrichardson3213 I mean think about it, Donkey Kong always goes to the top of the platform, carries Mario's damsel in distress and rolls barrels down platform after platform trying to hit Mario. And the game: Fix-It-Felix Jr. has the same pattern, but unlike Mario, Felix jumps and repairs each spot of the building and tries to get to the top of the platform and defeating Ralph and earning a medal.
Disneyland should literally build a arcade game (wreck it ralph theme) in their park...that will be sssoooo coooool!!!!
NO WAY! I want to play this so bad it hurts! Does Sugar Rush exist somewhere?
Christy Matthews yes it does.
I think sugar rush is a copy of mario kart
Hehehehehehe GustR Trueee
Disney infinity
Just Some Random Person Passing Through your kidding?! YOU better not be lying
They should add the voices some how
Im Gonna Wreck It!
Arcade Cabinets in the late 80's couldn't have voices due to the sound.
@@PappyVPoodle I know, but I'm saying to keep that nostalgic 80s feel.
He fixes broken windows with a hammer.

This is how homeopathy works.

@@weylaw8623 stupid,he is joking,dont be embittered
Boi its a magic hammer
Now the movie will come to life!!
Did they add the crazy bonus levels like at the end movie as well?
Kylah Yvonne no.
they should've
dogememe Growtopia 😭😭
*Kylah Yvonne* Sadly it’s only on Litwak’s Fix-It Felix Jr arcade cabinet, since that’s where they made the bonus levels
I dont know
they actually created the arcade game after to movie to attract gamers to the arcade.
the movie was based on the game
Zayden Bullard
Game never existed before the movie, Disney evem clarified this myth already.

Hard to believe this movie will be 10 years old next year.
it actually looks like it was made from the 80s! Imagine a show based off on this!
Who feels like going turbo after watching this?
Spellmoon Patronus me
I will

Turbo tastic
I remember seeing this at an 80s themed arcade about a year ago!!
2019?
It was made in the last year or so. It was designed to look old...though it really is not.
Spectacular, isn't it?
Where are the Sugar Rush and Hero's Duty?
both fake
Pft. You said Duty!
Not that kind of duty.
Son Son *Hero's doody
Heroes duty?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Duty
Funny how fix it Felix uses a hammer to repair Windows.
I played this last year at Yorkshire cosplay event in Sheffield. It's actually a fun little game to play. It's similar to donkey kong but it's not quite donkey kong as you're having to try fix the Windows while avoiding objects thrown from above.
Sweet Wreck-It-Ralph game machine, a real-life verision!😃🎮🕹️
Can somebody dump a rom of this game?
It's actually a windows exe. I think It's been dumped online
Tell me about it
It's a Sega génesis ROM

Aw man! I wish this was still at DisneyLand and you could play for free in the Star Cade. I’ve always been wondering what happened to that thing because it’s been gone for about 3 or 4 years already.
I can't believe there's a real arcade of Fix-It Felix jr. Just like in the movie
I knew this guy from college who had the donkey kong arcade cabinet in his house. That thing was so ancient and old, but it's a classic.
No.
Those are converted Nintendo Donkey Kong games from 1982.
It's awesome how they went the extra mile and made them look old and beat up. Very cool.
ParryAll I believe this is made from scratch, though a mod of donkey kong would be amazing.
Who Would Win? Fix-It Felix Vs. Foreman Spike
They had this same arcade machine in Disney springs. It was in the gift shop of Disney Quest
Yup, proof that good games and game concepts don't haveta look flashy to be addictive!
Why does it not talk? They should have been able to make it just like in the movie since it's a 8-bit style video game, it's not like The Last Star Fighter where the game Alex was playing is more advanced looking then the real world video games of the time the movie came out.
That looks so fun😄😄
Musii
Before. This was a promotional gimmick.
The game was made in 2012, same year as the movie, and also, games from the early 1980s actually could have voices in that quality, the movie was not innacurate, games from that era could have these voices, search for Sinistar.
2018?
Yeah

Me.
No 6 year's ago

“If Felix was a regular contractor, carpenter guy, I guarantee you, you would not be able to fix the damage that I do as quickly.” - Wreck It Ralph (2012).
Next thing you see is, Ralph not there and Felix being like “I CAN FIX IT!”
nes could do pcm audio. why not this?
davidevgen I believe this was intended to look like to be made before the nes. Judging the game from the same era like dk jr. , sounds are still pretty simple.
davidevgen It's mean't to be from the early Namco/Nintendo era, before NES.
if you had a spare twenty thousand dollars you could of bought one, Disney made about 12 machines (citation needed) & so as a Disney collectable it will probably hold its value & even go up, Though I am pretty sure a cheaper version will be availble to buy or build if there is not one already .
paulspydar all it need was an actual game rom. It does have a web version, but why play a browser game on an arcade cabinet?
Thank you for posting this! I had no idea this existed.
I have one of these machines at my cottage arcade and I was trying to talk to them
oh my
Cookies Cool lce cream #2 Dennis ball. Love your calpalment
Where are the voices?
Is 8bit 😐
Morgan, traditionally, 8-bit games don't have voices.
@Anonymous User it's because it's supposed to be realistic
That is just too awesome! :D
There should be a special arcade in disneyland where it all have the games in Wreck it Ralph
why would you use a hammer to fix a window???
Hronru playz you havent watched wreck it ralph im guessing
Space Shark I watched it but bad idea if u use real hammer xD
Hronru playz it’s a magic hammer he got from his father

BACON MASTER 2! This is about fix it filex
BACON MASTER 2!
That's the point.
i just don't know why people think that this is a new game its from the 80's
LMFAO! who told you that? why dont you look things up before you try and tell other people things.
+Cory Carlson He is right it was made on october 8 1982. Most people only know of the game due to the disney movie wreak it ralph, but it was around 30 years before the movie came out.
Mistress Kixen Well that's not true,I did my research and what you are talking about is the disney commercial/fliers that are supposed to look like from 1982 and were a homage to back then
Jason Bouskill dude only 3 colors on 1 sprite at a time back in the 1980s its new
It's not from the 80's...
it's all fun and games until you go to play but the characters have exited through the wires
I remember playing this as a kid!
How?
I’m 10 now!
Who's watching this on 2017?!
Cuz i do.

Woah thia is so cool i wish they also have it in here!
i totally missed that!!!!
I was just waiting for Ralph to say " i gonna wreck it!!"
Thats really cool.
Wow, that's awesome.
Man I wish I want to play that game Fix It Felix Jr.
Did your favorite year with my Pham character but now it’s Wreck-It Ralph and now I love both
Even though it seriously looks like it could be......it was not a real arcade game. But the fact that Disney made a old 80's style commercial for it, and also made it into a real game with some old donkey kong arcade cabinets. I give Disney some props.
Frikkin awesome!!! :D
I really hope that the version of Fix-It Felix, Jr. that they include as an extra mode in the Wreck-It Ralph Wii game is a port of this and not the watered down flash version from the website.
I just watched the movie and now i want one of these cabinets...
lovely "fix it felix"
NO WAY THATS SICKNESS THIS IS CRAZY GAME THAT I SEEN
Dang!! That's so real that's sick 😃😃😃😃

Loved to see it in reality
Imagine When you finish the match: *WATCH WRECK IT RALPH IN CINEMAS AND THEATERS in 2012*
Thank you and God bless
that's the original one that came out in 1982 that's why it had no audio. IT WAS A REAL GAME!
I want one of those shirts!!
Hard to believe they made a movie out of this
R.I.P Arcade game
Now we can see how people see the game
I wish to play this.
