    Known in the sports betting industry as Ace, Vegas-Runner, & Gianni the Greek, professional sports bettor & handicapper Gianni Karalis has been known as one of the most esteemed movers in Las Vegas for over 20 years. VR broke into the industry as a bookmaker in Philadelphia in the late 1980's and by the mid-90's he was moving steam with the most profitable and respected betting syndicates at that time. Information was not as readily available back then and the multiple wiseguys these groups bet for won at a rate unimaginable by today's long-term winners.
    The problem back then wasn't gaining access to more wiseguys or even getting money down on the plays, it was getting paid. Bookmakers were becoming harder to find and less eager to pay once they realized they weren't going to get their money back, so the obvious move was to head out to Las Vegas where at least you were guaranteed to get paid on a winning bet.
    Ace started out stationed as a runner at the Stardust Race & Sports Book which at the time was the center of the universe for sports betting. They took pride in putting out the opening lines for everything, and were willing to take a nice sized bet even from the sharpest of bettors. His job was to wait for "buy orders" that came via two-way radios and then get down as much money as possible at the desired price. Eventually the offshore sports book industry exploded and the game was changed forever on how wiseguys used betting syndicates to get their action down.
    Though he had nothing to promote, Gianni was a guest on the famous Stardust Line radio show due to his reputation for being a runner for many of the most respected wiseguys. Almost all the other guests were "pick sellers" and the opportunity for him to sell his information arose and Vegas-Runner was born.
    The experience was like nothing Ace had expected and he was afforded a front row seat to the "pick selling" industry. He offered his service to a few different sites and saw many good and bad practices and habits. During that experience VR could be heard on local and national ESPN, FOX, CBS, Yahoo radio and more. He's been seen and featured on a CNBC sports betting special, a NY Times Magazine expose on sports betting, "The Best of It" sports betting documentary, monthly on the UFC on FS1 Pre-fight Show., and more. He's also written for Gaming Today and many other publications and newspapers through the years.
    2018 marks Gianni the Greek's "5th" straight documented year of beating the books and turning a profit over a statistically significant sample size. Like Ace says, "I can't guarantee I'll win for you over every sample size because there's a lot of randomness to small ones, but over a statistically significant sample size there's nothing your bookie can do to stop you from taking his money if you manage your bankroll correctly".
    There are very few bettors in Ace's position, with access to respected and profitable wiseguys & betting syndicates daily. There are very few bettors with the experience and knowledge to determine "set-ups", "numbers moves", & "middle attempts" from "REAL MOVES" like VR can. And there are even fewer bettors with those abilities who are willing to share it, like Gianni does.
    From the most seasoned and big bettors, to the newest and smaller ones, Gianni will tell you with certainty what the most profitable bettors in every sport have the most money on every day...making you a mathematical certainty to be in the 1% of bettors who win long-term.

    Ace, im always looking for +EV plays. I studied dice control for a year but found the edge is to small even when you can avoid unforseen variables and takes way to much practice, what are your thoughts on dice control? Thanks

    Ace thanks as always for a great education, love this show! I have been using the draw/under 2.5 parlay in both soccer tournaments when they seem to correlate. It has been working welll...my question is the books that actually allow it crushes the odds. For instance in the Spain/France match the true odds should be around 324 and I'm getting 255. Is this still a plus EV bet?

    Hey Ace. I don’t have time to handicap my own stuff, but obviously still want +ev plays. Who would you recommend following on wager talk for their free stuff? Last few years I follow the bet on it crew for football, and Ross Benjamin here and there for other sports. Thoughts on them?

    Hi VR, Blackjack question. what the range of my betting should be if I bet $25 per hand on double decks?
    You advised 2 x true count as your strategy so true count 1 bet $50, true count 2 bet $100, 3 bet $150, 4-5-6-7 bet $200?
    Would you considering 2 hands when the count is high?

    Smashing and sharing daily!
    Quote of the day:
    “The only sure thing about luck is that it will change.”
    Question: Do you know of any blind wagering systems of significant sample size that deserve a mention? Does such a thing exist? Thanks sir!

    I know you have access to positive EV information, but when you handicap baseball yourself, what metrics or angles do you focus on most or weight heavier?

    Ace - I'm new to your channel. Can you address this or point me to another video where you've previously discussed the same. At the 8:15 point you give Colorado as the play for the day and mention it as a 3% play, but then you discourage betting 3%. I understand why not to bet 3%, I'm just curious as to why you call it a 3% play if we are only to bet 1%? Please clarify.

    What is the difference between arbitage betting and scalping ? , is there a term for betting both sides of a event where one side will result in a profit and the other will just result in money back , not arbitage betting but still ensuring that you cant lose ?!

    You mentioned that the MLB market has been crushing you this year (An I know, I’m a long term subscriber lol). So now that there has been a fairly large sample size (about 3months into season), wouldn’t it make a little sense to adjust maybe unit sizes or dive deep into seeing whether its sides/totals that’s hurting you?
    I get that you’ve been profitable in MLB for multiple years and that your piggy backing stuff you agree with from the syndicates. Just wondering if you do any self scouting and maybe adjust to the way the current season is going.

    Ace I'll try to rephrase the 2 bankroll question. If I were to purchase your 365 package would I just wager your bets for the 365 days to follow the program successfully...
    What about some bets of my own.

    Hey Ace!! Really like to jump on the beginning of the year trying to build my bankroll pick up a second job so hope to join in January. Quick question 🙋‍♂️ what do you think about buying wagertalk 5% on Tuesday since it’s only $2

    • @MichaelFehrenbach
      @MichaelFehrenbach 13 днів тому +1

      My 2 cents don’t do it. Guys on Wagertalk today talked about it last week. It’s a standing joke that its bad luck for that capper and they tend to lose. If you do buy it don’t go heavy because they rate it 5%

    I took the under on Sunday night baseball. The o/u dropped to 2.5 -150 at the top of the 7th… would that have been a good middle!

      @kliqster8 12 днів тому

      @@historyminute I hammered that Under for a G. It was never in doubt. I kinda liked it. Ace confirmed it. And I said to myself “hmm. Yanks Red Sox. Stand alone Sunday night game. Lots of money on it with people trying to end the week catching up. They bet the over. I go the other way. Tell me that simple scenario doesn’t happen more than 50% of the time?? Contrarian better baby. Don’t overthink it and believe you’re “smart” at this stuff. I was cocky a long time ago and lost a LOT of money. Be careful taking these dogs as Gold. They RARELY come in. Bummer that he only had 1 free play and it’s a +150 dog. Good chance they don’t win. Baseball all sides are SO hard to predict. I feel like there’s a better edge in the totals. But what do i know

      MLB been exceptionally tough this year too.

    • @kliqster8
      @kliqster8 13 днів тому +1

      @@Wagertalk that’s what I’m saying. MLB sides are very hard. Can lose a lotta money taking big chalk - and you’ll lose 20 times taking dogs before one comes in for ya. Totals are the way to go in baseball. I’m profitable 4 years running just betting totals all summer waiting for NFL and College to come back.

    • @kliqster8
      @kliqster8 12 днів тому

      @@Mims-ht1df pick your spots?? That translates to “guess when you think a teams gonna win and bet it”. I’m telling you. ML, RL are very hard to bet. There’s plenty of data out there to give you a betting edge. However, I find the data to be more helpful in the total than on the side. You bet a -215 favorite on the ML and you lose….thats a big dent. I bet hundreds per game. Taking dogs outright is beyond risky! Most people don’t have Ace’s bankroll to fuck around like that.
