If you ever get a chance, please can you go more in-depth on how to setup assistants and flows, and the sheets. I know you also very busy, but I think it would help so many of us, as there’s no info or proper tutorials on this. Yes, I went a bit quick in the beginning because I wanted to get to the main point of the video. But I anticipate more videos going through these interactions (and possibly multiple assistant functionality). Thanks for the suggestion, and always thanks for watching.
I hadn’t used the assistants api since the 1.0 version. Gave it a shot, didn’t like it. CBB kept mentioning assistants 2.0 but I hadn’t investigated (or planned to) but now that you made a whole video about it I’m reconsidering.

Connor, First off, thank you for you content! I found you several weeks ago and you have completely steered me down a new path for my business. I thought my focus would be mostly on automation workflows via n8n or zappier. You showed me how useful chatbots are especially as a "foot-in-the-door" to new clients that would lead to additional automations. And then when you lead me to Chatbot Builder it was game over. I am switching the majority of my focus on chatbots with Builder. Again, Thank you! Now to my question... Can you tell me if I am correct in my assumption that the assistants feature will work in the following scenario: I want to set up the Default Reply with a KB as my base "brain" that handles general information then set up individual assistants with detailed information about particular subjects. How would I guide the flow back and forth between the default reply and the detailed assistant?
@@CaptnCoke1127 thanks for the kind words on the channel. Best of luck building. That’s certainly one way you could set it up, although you might be able to setup one assistant to handle it all. I’ll probably drop a video in the next month that goes over multiple assistant use cases
I've used assistants api for function calling, and noticed that when using gpt 4o mini, the function is not triggered every time, or frankly most of the time it refuses to trigger the tool even if mentioned multiple times in the prompt. This is not happening with gpt 4o which works every time. Yes it's more expensive but it works and that is what counts.
@@iononai looks like I need to stop being cheap and use 4o maybe I will actually get things to work properly. Mini just doesn’t want to listen to my commands 😂😂😂 Definitely going to switch over!

I mean, How can that main assistant pull info from the dealership locations assistant? And, couldn't you use only one assistant in this demo? Lastly, what do you think of the temperature being 1? Thanks
@@Omri.Tal. you could absolutely put it all in one assistant. But depending on use case and how much data you’re dealing with, might make sense to split them.
@@Umbral-AI Thanks, but i'm intereseted how you managed to make multiple assistants, and they can "communicate" with each other? i tried exactly what you did and it didn't work for me. 3 assistants, each with different file, chose the "main" assistant in the OpenAI tab in the settings, but the information that assistant had was only from his own file, not the other assistants. I'll appreciate it if you could answer this. Thanks!

I'm finding similar results, thanks for sharing! 4o just seems a bit more dialed in at "listening" to the prompt instructions.
