Thank you so much for your comment. Yes, sadly due to a lot of abuse on this channel, I only allow comments on some videos, to prevent a constant harassment. Many people want help for free and at the same write me some nonsense comments. As I value my peace and well being above anything, I prefer to restrict the comments, that way these idiots will do that on other channels. At the same time, people that follow my channel do know how to contact me. Hopefully in a couple of days, a new video will come out, and it did not go according to plan at all 😬 but hopefully will be ok

Great video! Could you include the torque figures of the 13mm and 17mm bolts?

Thank you for your comment. I must admit that I am very bad with torque. I always do it by feel until by my judgment it is right. I have only used torque twice when doing the gasket on my Range Rover and the second time changing the O rings on the injection pump. Apart from that, all by feel. Sorry 😬

@@MercedesBenzW124 haha no worries. Thank you for the reply. You are a seasoned pro so you don't need torque unlike us newbies

Hi, I'll be very grateful if you consider show us how to replace W124 sedan trunk wiring (I mean those for back plates light and trunk light). I think it's a common problem in this car because of cables stiil moving in the hinge when we open and close trunk. I repaired it once before just by soldering broken wires, but now it break inside hinge "pipe", then I think it will require trunk dissassembly.
Thank you for all of your videos!

Thank you for your comment. Electrical problem is common on the estate models and I had that too on the trunk. There are a lot of cables going through there, and disconnecting everything, get brand new cables, reconnect everything... You will be there days... And more if not reconnected correctly. I personally won't do it. If a repaired cable snap, I may eventually replace that cable but will not replace the entire trunk wiring. Sorry, I will not be able to help on this.

@@MercedesBenzW124 I meant sedan, not estate/combi/wagon. :) Sedan has only a few cables, for trunk switch and two back plates light. I just don't know how to take off the trunk fabric "cover".

Hello, I would like to ask you a question nothing to do with this topic. My Mercedes 200 D from '89 has a little problem with it's oil consumption, for my sense it's way too high. The car doesn't show any faults of a blown head gasket, because the exhaust fumes are neither blue nor white. In general, it makes almost no smoke. The coolant water isn't black or dirty too, and it's consistense feels normal. But I have to say, that the 200 D looses a little bit of oil underneath, the engine is completely dry from the front.
Now I would like to hear your opinion on that, it would help me a lot. Thank you for your great videos, they always a pleasure to watch.

Thank you for your comment. If your engine consume oil, it has to go from one way or the other. Problem on the pistons seals are common due to lack of servicing or the seals of the engine itself. I would recommend you to clean the engine with gazol then later when you will drive it, you will see where the leak is coming from and then will be able to fix it.

Thank you so much for the reply. I‘m very happy about it. Unfortunately I‘m not able to say how well the car was maintained before it was in my hands.
The next time when oil get‘s changed I‘ll give the engine a cleaning.
Gracias y muchos saludos de Alemania.

Thank you for your comment. From what I understand you have manual windows. Can be a broken part or windows out of his place. Remove the door panel (I have a video on this, simply look at my channel) and look where the problem is. After the panel is off, it will be very evident
