Absolutely the best shaver I have ever used. I have very sensitive skin, and even after the first use there were no issues, redness, bumps, etc. And using shaving soap with this shaver gives me smooth skin, as close or even closer than a blade. The SmartClean system works beautifully, and my shaver is always charged and ready to go. Bravo, Philips.

My Braun Series 7 broke like many other people's have and I replaced it with a modern Series 5, which is actually a better shaver than the yet to be updated Series 7 from my experience. I moved in with my friend's family though and I have to go to work at 4AM usually. Foil shavers are just too loud and I decided to get a rotary. I'm in TN but found a Canadian model of this shaver brand new on ebay for $45 and couldn't pass it up. It didn't come with the cleaning station but Philips lets you upgrade to them separately unlike Braun and Panasonic. It will be here today and your video makes me so much more excited. My specific version of this is the S7710/15.
My problem is my neck area as well. My hairs grow at angle leaving them flat. I tried a Norelco wet shaver awhile back and it pulled at my neck hairs. I am deciding between the Braun 7865cc or the Norelco 7500> I currently have a panasonic eslv65 which is great on the face...not on the neck as I have to go back over. Ive read many review the braun is the best for sensitive skin but been thinking of giving Norelco another try as the technology is different now.....
Good video. I like this shaver. The colors are uplifting and fresh. I bought the one that came after this, the 6800 series. Darker blue. Today. Agree, that it's odd how quiet and non-viby it is. I thought it wasn't charged properly. But I guess it's just quiet. My Braun 7 Series is badly loud. I can wet-shave with shaving cream with mine. Not sure if you can with your 7500. One thing, you kept pronouncing the Braun as "brown" and I thought you were talking about a "Brown" brand I'd never heard of. Or some brown colored shaver of yours. (I skipped around the video a lot). Then I watched another American review a Braun and he said "brown" too. Ha! Please, it's pronounced "brawn". Like a muscular, brawny man. Or the popular paper towel.

Excellent review. I own it and use it in the shower with foam. Immediately has helped with my ingrown hairs. Love it.

Captain Sunday my 7500 is a wet/dry shave. And it is actually pronounced phonetically “brown” like the beer Lowenbrau sounds like, “Lowen-brow”
