However, the first song I found was by Blvck Ceiling-WVLFFLIFE in 2012 but I didnt learn about the genre and understand until 2013. I've been listening to Synthwave since 2014 as well, but the first song I heard was in 2012 S.U.R.F.I.N.G.- Hit the Spot which is a Vaporwave tune, a sub genre of Synthwave.
