I saw them play this at House of Blues in Orlando, FL in 2015 and it was great, but this now in 2017 has morphed into something epic! I can't stop coming back to this. So good. Can't wait to see UM on their swing thru Florida in April. Incredible!
I remember 2013 being like a huge year of growth for them from 2010 era stuff... and here we are, they keep blowing it outta the ball park.

Well, that was good. Very much a guitar/drum driven jam. Not many UM tunes sound like a bass/piano/conga driven jam.

My favorite "new" band. I love Brendan's vocalizing.
Charlie Jervis, Brendan's voice is one of the few things I really don't like about UM. It's flat. Sorry Brendan. Just sayin'.
I like his tone; he does have some pitch problems, but he's improved a lot over the last few years.

Mario Velez this song was written as a jam during the first set of um bowl 2015. One of my favorite off-the-cuff songs they've written to date. I'd check out the original version of this, it's so good!

Has this been recorded? I know this band does records differently. But I like the idea of stand alone cds. And am attracted to instrumental music rather than songs. Hearing this makes me imagine an all-instrumental cd. Like four such pieces on a cd. Good show. And then if songs there be, record them separately as an "all song cd". That's my mental remixer speaking as someone who, obviously, has never worked in a studio, been a producer, or whatever. But it is what this music says. To my ears.
