wow your mind must be working overtime with all the gear you made .its great well done pal. Its cold hear in England but luckily not the cold your having. Good luck and ride safe.
Impressive outfit. I like the way you still use the trad terms like Top Box and Panniers, not back box and side cases like they do these days. Regards from the UK
I love this mate, what an Awesome setup: do you have any plans made up for all this? I'm Australian and would like to have something exactly the same for over here.
I'm no Engineer but with plans and probably some guidence i could make something close- and i'm interested in your front shock set up and is progressive springs just as good, if not could you explain why? Thanks
No plans, every time I build one of these I basically lock my self in my garage with a bunch of steel and a welder and I emerge about a month later with a new rig !!😉😉😉
I was just thinking of a very similar concept, except with the sidecar wheel connected to an electric motor for off road assistance.. would that take much more effort to implement?
Awesome setup, thanks for sharing. I live in Tacoma and I hope to have my sidecar rig ready this spring.

I LOVE the rig, great setup
Outsanding set-up!

How much does it way with gear, and did you mod the engine more hp, and gearing change final drive as klrs dont have alot of omph. i like it.
I've seen your other vids.. awesome and amazing! Great job! Thanks for the walk around. I'm curious, what kind of gas mileage you get now?
Nice job. Thanks.
Great setup
I watched all of Slades UA-cam videos and fell in love with the Australian outback rigs so I built one

And if you didn't mind: a link to where you purchased your bits and pieces??
I don’t sleep much !!🤣🤣
Building a long distance off-road Chinese dual sport right now !!.
Curious how the thumper handles the weight
Nice
It has a razor sharp edge and works like a axe !!
If I keep it under 4,000 rpms ( back roads) I get right at 40mpg.
Over 4,000 rpms ( freeway) I get exactly 35mpg

Tohunga Uwishin
I played around with that idea awhile back.It name to complicated to match the electric motors throttle with the bikes engine.
I need to. I want one for my dog to ride in/on.
500 miles this weekend
Not very well,I removed the sidecar from the KLR and it’s going on a ZL600 with 2x the HP.
They used shovels like that in the WW1 trenches : (
Noob question, why change the front forks to that set up?
It’s to reduce the trail and make it steer much easier
