I only have 6 crew members (I only upgrade ever so often) and have only been playing for about a year or so. I stopped playing at one point. My highest is Misty Peaks (That’s usually the last one I go to before I collect my fishing experience) “Fishing Experience” is the most important part. The “fishing luck” bonus you get when spinning the wheel by watching ads, keep spinning until you get “4x” also helps. You get buoys with the “Mechanic” crew member (I don’t have that one). Once you find that you can’t progress anymore (quickly), then collect your fishing experience and go back to Shallow Coast. You’ll need to go back a few times to see a major change. I usually go back to Shallow Coast after collecting 50,000+ fishing experience. I use these currently (in order) Swift Line Pro - Level 6 Gold Reel - Level 1 (it’s in one of the 3 star boxes) Double Lines - Level 3 Greengill Lucker - Level 3 Winston’s Rod - Level 5 Hope this helps! I've played Hooked Inc, some of the crew, the pictures of people on the left of the screen, have effects that directly make the experience go up. He's also prob leveled them up and has many who synergize. Does that answer your question?
