I live just up the road from the track. I worked there for all 2004 races, and got Dan Wheldon's autograph before he won his first Indy 500. It's a shame the track closed, and the way it looks today. It has nothing but weeds growing out of the middle of the track, it's a ghost town.

@mattkobel90 Yeah you can see how over grown the weeds and everything is on the track on Google Earth. Its very very sad. A really unique track wasting away. Hopefully sometime soon the track will be reborn if its not too late
