WOW!! OMG!!!! Is this band from San Jose California? I have a recording of this song on tape that I just found today 12/7/23. KSJO or KOME. Thank you so much for posting. I truly love this song
@@elgherasta Yeah they are still rocking it but only Dave is left from the original lineup, all the rest have passed away. I last saw them it was in 2017 or 18 when they did the final show at the Avalon night club in Santa Clara on NYE, I first saw them in the summer of 1979 at the Alameda county fair when I was 14. The best (and saddest) was the benefit concert for Phil Kennemore New Years Eve 2010 at The Avalon, it was filled with rock stars from so many different bands taking part for different songs. Don Dokken opened it up with a half hour acoustical solo playing old Dokken songs followed by Y&T and friends taking the stage at 8pm and played well past 1am followed by an all you can eat breakfast buffet.
I and a friend managed them. We were all from San Jose and went to Hollywood right at the beginning of the 80's. Great guys. They charted with this song. First metal band ever signed by Welk Music. Chris passed away about 5 years ago. I never really kept in touch other than with Clifford their manager before I joined the team. Anyway yes it is unkown classic.
I bought this album in 1983 at my local record store that sold imports, japan cds with OBI strips etc. I still have the vinyl and taped it to a cassette and would blast it in my car back in the day...No one heard of them but me and my metal head friend.

#60 on the Billboard Album Rock Top Tracks chart in early 1984.
Truly a classic that will live for ever. Right up there with one of the best.
I haven't heard this song in over 30 years. What a great memory.
His vibrato is awesome 🎸😀🥁
He reminds me of Dave Menikkiti from Y&T
