- Hi Folks! Presented by Mediocre Video Productions (a fictitious company), here is a last-minute submission to NPR’s 2019 Tiny Desk Competition. It’s an original song written by Nolan Taylor, an up-and-coming singer/songwriter from Cincinnati, OH. Nolan and I were made aware of the competition within two days of its deadline, but had fun recording this with my gnarly iPhone and a tripod (#domorewithless). Enjoy!
My newest favorite singer and guitarist, Nolan Taylor and I just have to say- even though I have heard him perform this song before, I LOVE the addition of the talented mandolin player. Nolan Taylor has become one of my most favorite songwriters, second only to John Prine.
Killer song
You saved me n my brother Marv. He headed out to "Alaska" I'm surely to follow. I love you brother. Keep on keeping on thru darkness on "68" with love from the Kansas plains. Pain is drifting and shifting though broken bones and ties. Broken wings that fail me in flight. With love and osin away Ill drive. ❤
