I cannot comprehend why there are so many safes in the canals of Amsterdam.
well somebody explained in an other vldo, It seems to be that during ww2 many people tossed them in to the wate,r in the hope that they one day would come back to get them out. sad story....sounded plausibel to me.
@@irenevandenberg7338 - As a Dutch I am saddened by all the safes in the water. I heard someone (Bondi or someone else) tell the story about safes being thrown in because of WWII. But that seems so weird. Yes, many people, especially jewish people fearing persecution, buried and hided valuables. But in the water ?? A safe then was not waterproof, so only coins could survive. No, I am afraid that the absolute majority of the safes that they find are from recent burglaries. Most are broken open anyways, so those are not the ones thrown in deliberately. Safes taken in a burglary, opened up in maybe a van or a boat, then thrown in a canal. Very sad.

Lol, funny though, like someone stole a sewing machine, grabbed the thread from it, and dumped the evidence in the canal. Or someone spending a nice afternoon sewing by the water, oops, it tipped in! Lol, maybe someone dumping junk.
I just started watching mag fishing a few days ago and stumbled onto this channel. I am amazed at how happy the makers of this type of video are!! Boys and girls, take it from a Nana, enjoy it while you can. Life is short, the day isn't as long as they say it is and love is elusive so stay the course to happiness. Find your joy and share it. Dang it, this Nana about cried just then...happy tears for the youth and exuberance of these fine people. I love that the eyes and hearts of the young are turning back to the earth as a gift, not an expectation. This old hippy chick has some stories to tell, write your own book to share with like-minded people or, with those who need your message.
Oh, and one other thing, I have been an artist, crafter, maker my whole life so see beyond the form and into the world of imagination. Nothing is exactly as it seems. If you find darkness, shine the light. If you find peace, share it. If you find desolation, lead the way to hope. Enjoy these ruminations of an old lady, I hope something I posted here is what you needed!

7:51 car exhaust could be a stolen catalytic converter they are worth money because of the platinum inside. PFAFF is part of an old sewing machine 15:03. 18:34 cool walking stick. I should make one out of pennys or maybe quarters. 19:09 bolt from a rifle. The Geweer M. 95, also known to collectors as the Dutch Mannlicher, was the service rifle of the Armed forces of the Netherlands between 1895 and 1940. Great find. The rest of it is probably down there.
Heading out for some magnet fishing on Lake Norman today with the hubby. He drives the boat and helps me when things are too heavy for me to lift. I'm still searching for something of value or at least interesting. You guys are always my inspiration!!

I made this suggestion before even if you get a small bucket you can clean out your seats using the water at all also help you clean off the sidewalks and stuff that you get dirt but that's up to you

A cast trick I want to tell ya about. Stand on the bridge and lower your magnet half way down. Swing it back and forth under the bridge. When it goes under the bridge, drop magnet. You can get further underneath the bridge. I love your vids. Party on. Woo.👍😁

Yes on that Zippo. If you send it back, they will either fix it, or if it is unfixable, they will send you a new one. The Zippo factory is in Bradford Pennsylvania, and you can find the address online.

P.S. можно раствор уменьшить в два раза,если деталь небольшая.🙋♀️

Yes mate....in the U.S.....I've sent in my zippy and they replaced the whole inside half of my lighter for free......Zippy has always had a lifetime warranty.....anything malfunctions and they will repair or replace free....but you do have to pay the shipping to get it to them....Love your show mate...can't wait for 6our next post...Stay well my friend.❤

PFAFF is a sewing maschine,pretty old,a hand treadle(you need to use a foot to keep the maschine moving and sew).I am a quilter and know how to use one.🤗
Man, you guys need to get you a couple of plastic putty spackle knives. Use to scrape the fluff off yer magnet, and to scrape the mud outta them safes and boxes.

It's not that simple. People who never use their bodies are the ones who more easily hurt stuff like their backs. I've had back issues, easily get stiff and achy from using it in certain positions, but it always goes away with a mix of rest and restorative/thoughtful use
@@peppigue Please google "how to lift a heavy object" and then look at how he lifted the concrete block. His butt was higher than his knees and he was bent way over the concrete block when he started the lift.
I have worked in construction long enough that I have seen some strong and fit people injured with such an action.
This guy was lifting in such a way that can cause serious injury that will last the rest of his life.

When the Thimonnier sewing machine was being manufactured, the French tailors union rioted at the factory they were being built in. Manufacturing the sewing machine came to a dead halt when they burned the building down. The inventor died broke.
