I got 2 xf Ute's both ratty old work Ute's build using stock ford part's both in the 13's at over a hundy on the quarter. I got advice from a guy that worked on Dick Johnson's XE back in the group3 days on how to make them handle & the transformation using simple cheap backyard style mods was amazing. Underdog racing at it's best. You can't beat the feeling you get from seeing the look on the face of the guy when you just gapped his 95k Porsche with your 5k farmtruck

Amazing to know that back in the 1980's, Kenny Bernstein was only getting 2,500-HP from his 32-PSI (32-71) blown top-fuel dragster (breaking into the 300-mph range for the 1/4). Making power has come a LONG way (with almost half the cubic inches).
