The warranty put me over the edge. 2024 STX crew 4x4, whipple, -1.5 rear shackles. I can still tow, haul people, and have fun, it's an incredible bolt on value, especially considering the cost of vehicles and high trim levels these days.
I've been following this trend for the last couple of years, and I agree it's affordable, reliable, and totally utilitarian. I've already seen 4×4 trucks in Missouri going for under $35k.
@@cartersgarage392 Just did alot of internet/phone calls searching for one. Found on on lot got sent pictures over text and put deposit over phone to hold for a few days till i could go and pick up. Trade should not matter..dealers take trades everyday.
@@srtvertigoordered one in may and going to build it myself as well. Only reason I ordered is so I could get the color I wanted antimatter blue. Hard to find that color on regular cabs, or i havent been able to find one just sitting on a dealer lot. Supposed to get it in Dec.
Crosby does trucks up to 100k with full sound system, leather interior, paint match, lowered, headers full corsa exhaust, etc. Its call the ondgas edition
The other thing is your going to wait at least 2 to 3 months Lebanon ford is back logged till February, buy a truck yourself and install your own whipple kit it will only take a day or over the weekend just make sure you have lund tune it not HP tuners
I think its important to note that the "warranty" is through whipple and it only covers 7500.00 total on the engine and 2,000.00 on the transmission. Also they will only do a one time claim in there 3 year/36k miles period. Anything beyond that and your on your own. Also other parts of the drivetrain like axles, driveshaft etc will have no warranty. Essentially you void your powertrain warranty through Ford and have a small whipple warranty. Finding this out as I am ready to pull the trigger on it for my truck but am hesitant knowing this now. They dont tell you about it in all the sales videos unfortunately.
Yes, this is true. It's best to drive the truck around stock for 5,000-10,000 miles 1st. Can always do all the other modifications 1st. Because that amount of time, what would have broken, will. Warranty will cover it. Finish all the mods, add boost, then you're good to go! My exact route that I'll be taking 👍 thanks for watching!
@@masoncnc not mentioning it doesn't mean they aren't honest. Everyone has the ability to read the warranty. I'd assume that's a safe guess no? Why read something out that everyone else can and is easily accessible?
If the warranty is what is making you decide to go this route DONT DO IT. They won't cover it anyways if you're WOT when it goes and we all know that's exactly when it's gonna let go if it does.
@@FitzCityGarageit's pretty sleezy man they don't mention it because they're hoping you won't know. They make it seem like it has a fully in tact warranty they're always pushing that warranty bs and so many people get suckered into it.
Friendly Ford wants $60K for just the lowered truck with aftermarket wheels, now add the supercharger $$. Thats 15K for lowering and aftermarket wheels and tires, not a good deal.
Then don't deal with them. There are 3 dealers on the country: one in Texas, Ohio and Minnesota that all will sell you an MSRP truck plus $13k OTD. Other dealers are just smoking crack. It's better to do the other mods yourself, over time 👍

Correct. Whipple is providing the tunes for the 2024s. Just saw word today that Whipple may potentially be releasing an even higher HP tune coming soon. Things are looking up for 2024+ 5.0 vehicles one way or another
It's locked down just like the s650 and it ain't gonna change. You got ford approved tuning and that's it. I don't see anything whatsoever to make me think that is going to change any time soon if not ever.

@@strokerta1986it's also locked into what it runs. Aka it can't compete with actual fast cars on the drag strip because they don't have a high 8s ceiling and that's only if you gut the car. My 24 rcsb 5.0 4x4 103a package is in production this week. Ordered it back in April!

I bought my 24 rcsb in northwest Florida, 2 wheel drive supercharged! I love it
Does it break traction easily? I have a black 24 and was thinking about supercharging it. It's a 2wd as well....
@ with the traction control on it hooks up pretty good.
Thanks for explaining this, no one has explained this part

Picked up my 24 rcsb 4x4 Sunday. Whipple, ridetech 3/5, wheels/tires, high flow cats ordered the next day. Should be a fun little truck.
Have fun! What brand of high flow cats? I was looking at SPD but it's expensive
@ SPD. Their standard alpha cats. Still expensive though.
Champaign ford city ol todd has some good ones too he was the first one that I personally saw crankin these out and then I started finding others.
