I'm the Vancouver BC area. Depending on your age this could be a good boat. But it is very fast for a beginner, so be sure you have a much larger lake than the one I used for most of my video!
That's good too hear. I figured since Traxxas sell it with there off road battery's there should be no issue with them getting a bit wet. Thank you for the quick response and take that auto correction off lol
How long runtime do you get from the lipo batterys?
I get 6 + minutes on 4s depending on how fast you run it

Greetings from BC just bought the M41 widebody ,sent it back for warranty work as it’s under warranty, there is a delay before it hits full throttle,upgrades are trim tabs and brass prop.any ideas on the problem🇨🇦🇨🇦
hey real rc I wuz on ebay and I saw a leopard 4082 with a water jacket and I wuz wondering if it would be an upgrade to the stock traxxas motor?

Got a traxxas blast, need some info on upgrading to brushless&lipo
never owned an RC boat before, I want to use it on a river. is there some kind of battery indicator on the transmitter to let you know you are getting low so you can get back to shore? or do you just kind of figure it out when it starts getting less responsive?
The battery will go into low voltage protection,if the lipos are programmed for it, means you have enough power to bring it back to shore

Yo bro get a water 2 to 1 splitter for both so fresh water goes to both esc and motor

Like learning with a plastic prop, with cars, you should also learn with a plastic spur gear!
Im gonna buy one of these boats, but my question is, does water get into the battery area easy? I got high end lipos and the last thing i wanna do it ruin them playing around in water,
It can if you crash. I recently flooded the compartment trying to do some speed runs. The liposuction were submerged for almost an hour, but the batteries do not seem to have any issues. I did however let them dry for over a week. Under normal operation the boat does get a small amount of water inside, but it collects in a trough that the batteries are suspended above.
Haha. Liposuction was auto corrected from LiPo. Hilarious.
Also the stock motor cooling thing it let's a lot of water in might wanna get a new one

Is everything shown in the video stock on the boat?
Yes, box stock except for running 2x 3cell Li-Po's vs the stock 2x 7cell Ni-Mh batteries.
Hi Iv just bought the spartan. Does any one have a recomendation on hon to keep track on the lipo batteries? If they run to low on voltage thhy break is there any simple way to track the status on them?
Johan Johansson turn the low voltage detection on the esc
Otherwise there are low voltage alarms online thst beep very very loud if you get under a certain amount
About how long can u run it on the stock batteries because i wuz thinking about getting one

Mine leaks like a sob around the drive shat rubber piece and the canopy has no seal, if you flip it it will instantly fill with water.

Get a CNC prop. It's not an issue. And 70 mph? Show us that on GPS.
Its really a 4s boat the setup on 6s is trouble it will melt the plastic brackets the power module fits in.
