The Spirit of the Game: A Spoken Word Film About Young Female Footballers

This summer, our participants Maya, Kenza, and Shalukah take their step onto the pitch as they look on to the legacy of the Women’s World Cup. We partnered with @thisgirlcanuk to create a short film directed by @harrybowley capturing a pivotal moment in the growth of the women’s game. We explored what football means to young women across the UK and the role the WWC played in inspiring the next generation of game-changers.
