If you attack him when he barely begins to shoot the blue bullets, the game will count it as if you attacked when the green star bullets were active. the reason why there was a little pause on knockout is because at some point, mugman comes back, and while he got back, cuphead tried to attack bf, but if you dodge it, mugman gets hit and gets knocked out, while that happened, the announcer says knockout like the game does, and cuphead starts to get angrier. but if you are willing to take the shot and save mugman, then you will get an achievement.
Even though I think the mechanics are very fun, it definitely makes this one of the most difficult mods out there. But I think everyone should play this mod for themselves and appreciate all the work, and love put into this amazing mod. No shame in turning off the mechanics if you need to, that’s why the option is there.
For Freaky Machine, there are actual lyrics to them since part one of the song is based off the song ‘Build Our Machine’, and the second part is ‘Instruments of Cyanide’, both by DAGames.

You could have turn the mechanics off and just played the songs without them. They are still fairly hard themselves even without the mechanics. It would have been fine if you done that even though SOME people would have gotten mad even if you did. I personally just enjoy watching the content.
Legacy if you don’t hit sans during the 2nd song you will get access to a new cutscene plus a song and in freeplay the song with papyrus will be new and have sans in it

Just to help you the way to beat the last cuphead level was to save your attack for the blue bullets and ignore the stars because the stars do less damage then the bullets dude
Bruh you can tank the green ones they dont do much damage. When he switches to the blue then hit him. If you hit him when hes shooting green bullets then he switches automatically to the blue ones and he wont stop until you hit him again which you wont be able to cause a parry doesn't come till later. 12:50 ok I think thats a glitch cause I haven't seen him attack with blue bullets right away like that
In Cuphead’s last song when you have the mechanics at that point when he like slows down he hits mug man with the big blast and it plays the knockout sound effect from the game
I'm looking at CommunityGame's playthrough of this mod at the same time. I am loving how the Undertale section (just like the game) has different animations depending on whether or not you attack Sans.
Btw in the week 2/sans the blue bone notes kill u because in the real undertale game blue bones damage you when u move in them well the orange one u have to be moving to not take damage
Legacy! Sans is much funner (and easier, no mechanics ) if you don't attack! You also unlock a new bonus song by doing so! (that also has no mechanics )
Also if you left the machanics on for cupheads song called knockout, then mugman would of appeared and you would of gotten the decision to get a achievement. Saving mugman or letting him die gets you a achievment
Hint: Don't care about the green shooters focus on the blue one hit him if Cuphead does the blue shooter don't hit him if he does the green one if you hit Cuphead with the green shooter you're lose ur parry and get stuck at the same point over and over again idk if this is gonna work but you can probably try this strategy
