8mm Home Movie - Palm Beach, Bondi (Australia 1960s)

Shot by William Thomas Hale. I bought his films from his son, who had this to say about them:
“All this film was shot by my father, who worked for a refractory company exporting firebrick around the world. These reels, so far as i can recall, ( I haven't watched them since 1988) are general shots of the country along with anything steel-industry related that dad found. So possibly street scenes and possibly/probably some factory shots.”
This small collection of films takes to Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Cocos Island and the Rhine. These films appear to have been shot on Double 8mm film in the 1960s. A lot of these films also had notes such as ‘boring’ and ‘rubbish’, I’ll leave you to judge whether they are!
