Thx for the tour. I'm getting to that time where I need to look at colleges and JMU looked really good for a future Business Major.

Is JMU located below the mountain area? Just wondering if you have to drive around the mountains to get there?

If you're coming from West Virginia or from directly eastward yes.
The campus is served by 1 n-s interstate highway and 2 E-W interstate highways that connect at Straussburg (55 miles to the north) and Staunton I believe (25 miles to the South). It's on I-81 which is the same place for Bristol, Roanoke, Radford, Wincheester, Marion, and Blacksburg

Damn, it looks like you guys redesigned maybe a third of the campus since I graduated 15 years ago. How much money did you waste unnecessarily demolishing and recreating buildings to make them look just a little shinier?
I wish that the students took seriously the "Harrisonburg has a lot to do" idea but sadly a lot of them just stick to the housing communities around campus and never venture to the city of anything. Hopefully, it's a little bit of a bubble since I was there
