Really cool shots! I am not that big fan of Ektar, but it looks ideal for night photography, gonna give it a try. Also, thumbs up that you showed also bad photographs, good contrast how distinct great and bad photos can one get from the same roll.
Hey some nice work there. I really like the 'money shot' too - probably my favourite. Years ago, I used to do lots of night photography on 35mm film. Later on, I got a medium format camera (Koni Omega Rapid) for landscapes. Fully mechanical rangefinder camera that shoots 6 x 7cm film. I got some really nice images from it but at the same time, it did have reliability issues. I'd like to get an RB67 one day. Speaking of film, there's something that I find interesting. Quite a few years ago when I was shooting film on a regular basis, I noticed that more people tended to shoot on Fuji films (particularly their slide films like Velvia and Provia.) Though these days, it seems like the people who are shooting on film are favouring the Kodak negative films like Portra and Ektar more often. There does seem to be a kind of shift in that direction for film users.
Great vid! Think you could do a demo video of how to use the RB67 for long exposures? I see a lot of written instructions online but not many step by step demos for long exposure specifically!
i’ve been uninspired for WEEKS but needed to shoot tomorrow night so like.. this gave me so much inspiration i’m excited to shoot color film so basically: thank you SO much + your photos were amazing :)
The money shot is sick dude! I’ve been wanting to take long exposures with my RB as well but I’m so lost! Lol can you show how to do the long exposure trick in your next video?
Hi can you explain why your photo are underexposed at first? because I don't get it, you explain to quick! Because my photo also underexpose which i dont know why, im using Portra 160 metered accurately using sekonic light meter but all my night photo was underexposed, thank you.
There’s a thing called reciprocity failure, kinda hard to explain and I didn’t get it at first (usually for exposures that are 1-30 sec) but it basically means at night or at really low light, ur lightmeter is not reliable any more, so u take a reading for Portra 160, example ur taking the shot at f/16 and it reads 6s, u wanna overexpose it by one stop in seconds so like 8s, or u can search for a chart for whatever film ur using since it’s different for each film
I had a look through all of them and my favourites are the underexposed shots, maybe (in this instance) they more accurately capture the mystery of the night.
I was searching for more photography channels to subscribe to. If you haven't checked out Willem Verbeeck, Matt Day, Nick Carver and King Jvpes you need to check them out!
Dope style man, stay creative. yeah I really digged the 4:13 underexposed shot, syfy vibe for sure and 6:50! At some point should try cinestill 800 at night time, great with red with the halation glowing light. Also having a 35mm giveaway on my latest video if you'd like to enter !

Love the ‘on hands’ approach and your passion and energy. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s very inspirational.
How did you meter tho?
The building w the green shuttered light is definitely something to pursue imo rate that capture hard
Дружище, фотографии очень крутые! Плюс, у тебя однозначно талант и творческий потенциал, мне нравится, как ты чувствуешь композицию!

Looking at Todd Hido books huh?
On some real shit, his style is so hard to replicate effectively. It's a lot of fun doing long exposure shots though.
