    I bought some of this a few years ago - handy stuff! (it's basically a thin PVA glue). It's better than varnish or superglue as it is easily removed without any residue/damage.

      @SkellywagsTV  7 місяців тому

      Yeah, I agree. I prefer this over the other solutions for joints

      Should I just buy pva glue instead of kiki?
      Will pva glue works the same result as kiki?

      @@factcheck8113 I think the solution is specially made and is a bit different to PVA glue, I personally would recommend the Kiki, the thin applicator is perfect as well. it dries clear and can be rubbed off cleanly. GO for it! 😁

      I agree with Dan. Kiki is cleaner when dry. Works really nicely. I'd use a varnish over PVA glue though

    The way I've always dealt with loose joints is I will tear them apart over a piece of paper and then pack it into a pipe-
    OH.
    Wait. Yeah. Good... action figure repair method. I use a bit of nail varnish on my figures, and especially on things like these Kotobakyuaiguyaiai Hexa Gear governors.

    • @SkellywagsTV
      @SkellywagsTV  7 місяців тому

      Hahaha in the absence of a pipe, I just tear over another skin and reroll!
      Nail varnish is a great solution, especially with how difficult this can be to find

    • @SkellywagsTV
      @SkellywagsTV  7 місяців тому

      Still have to try out a governor from Kotobaykuyaki

    Ah - I forgot about this weak wrist joint for my captain (I pose him with the shield in front of him, and the hand on top of it). Now I only need to find Kiki on the black market ... :D
    Thanks for sharing!

    Just found your video ive been struggling with some seriously loose figures and have used glue in the past but i feel likenwith one its notnan option. Ive got a gundam universe tallgeese and the torso ball joint is so loose itnall but flops around. I just ordered a bottle and im looking foward to using this.

    • @SkellywagsTV
      @SkellywagsTV  2 місяці тому +1

      Speaking of Gundam, I would use either a matte or gloss spray or solution. Works a treat on model kits. For figures, Kiki is probably more appropriate though

    Awesome. cant find that stuff except in asia when ive looked. I usually use super glue even though that can be an accident waiting to happen. Thanks for the video buddy!!

    How would you recommend straightening out bent plastic on an action figure? i saw that you reviewed the guilliman figure and for mine a couple of the feathers on the backpack are bent. im leaning towards using hot water to put them back in place but depending on whatever i read it seems like people will recommend one thing over another. im kind of afraid of ruining it because its so expensive, so im wondering what your opinion is?

    • @SkellywagsTV
      @SkellywagsTV  7 місяців тому

      I would use hairdryer where possible. I only really use hot water on smaller things that I can dip into a bowl. Let it cool down after heating. Normally the heat will just restore the plastic to factory settings. If not, you can bend it slightly
