Lawsuit filed against Abyssinian Baptist Church may not move forward

- CBS New York's Jessi Mitchell is taking a closer look at the allegations of discrimination against the historic church, as it seeks a replacement for its longtime leader, the late Dr. Calvin Butts.
One of the requirements was at least 15 years senior pastor experience I believe, the requirements were made public. She didn't qualify off that one requirement alone.
Why she didn't just leave it in God's hands she went to the courts. What happened to the faith?
Because she knows that she's dead wrong and is going against God's word.
The same reason we have a judicial systems that stands on the shoulders of Christ. She did the right thing! Sexism and classism has no room in the house of prayer.
Had we just left it in God’s hands we’d still be in slavery. God requires us to fight for justice.
Why would you want to be where the people don’t want you to be?
I’m all for equal rights but she was kinda reaching. Tried pull a power play but corporate tactics don’t work in church like that. She was already a minister but wanted to be top dog

They don't know when the new pastor going to be butts was pastor for almost 40 years. I have known her for 18 years. She was youth minister at abyssinian. Then she left around the time I left ironically. She is a good pastor but I do think has to be more to this than everyone is saying

How are you suing a church for not making you the pastor, when they haven't officially called one yet? Like do you really think after suing them, the members are going to want you as their pastor, on top of paying you damages?! This is stupid. They didn't want you as their pastor; suck it up.

Really, I been listening in on Sundays for a while this year... I don't know it very well. I met the current pastor on IG and started to tune in.. can you give your opinion please 🙏🏾?

Is she a follower of Christ, or just a theologian? Not a good look... Why would a true believer want to be led by her? I wouldn't.

She went to theology school and learned and understands NOTHING! She is out of order for even applying to for the position! She doesn't obey what The Holy Scriptures say, she has a spirit of Jezebel, this church made the right choice!! Taking the matters of ELOHIM and allowing the heathens to help you force your way into a position that is nit meant for you is just cause for repentance!!!
